Last Time:
"I will, Headmaster! Thank you!" The young student left when he was finally dismissed. The second he left the office he wiped the tears away and smirked. The poor student, Sam, was going to be diligent in reporting to Dumbledore, but won't be the simple pawn Dumbledore thinks he is ...

"The ritual will be ready soon." Myrtle said with a smirk despite the fact that soon Dumbledore will do his annual curse on her so he can monitor her every word.
Quirinus grinned, "This year will be very different." He said from his spot on Debora's head.
In the past few years everything was peaceful. Dumbledore had no leeway at all to pull any stunts with Narcissa dropping by every day, which meant Harry and Draco were able to go through most of their school years without any trouble. That was great though it was a little disappointing as well for there was no progress on the horcrux front. The Sorting hat's clues, 'the heart of Gryffindor' and 'Slytherin's being fools and using their weakness', had yet to be deciphered.
The castle has been searched from top to bottom, but nothing has been found. The best they can hope for was that this year will be different in all the right ways. After all, this will be Harry and Draco's 7th and final year and Narcissa isn't allowed to drop by now that they're adults. With any luck Dumbledore will make a move and it will reveal something.
Myrtle smiled, "It would be nice to not have to point out letters to communicate during the school year, but will the recording work?"
"Breaking such a sensitive ritual is the easy part. As for making him think he's hearing you we think it'll work. The tests were promising, but not perfect. We'll need to be very careful applying the runes." Quirinus said honestly.
The ghostly aunt nodded understandingly, "I know, but I'm willing to try it even if I have to follow him and scream occasionally so he'll think the ritual worked. Anyway, how are the twins handling things?"
"Alecto and Amycus are doing great sending letters as Sam." An amused smile came to his lips. "Honestly, I think their still miffed that Dumbledore fired 'Ms. Figg' like that."
"They play their roles a little too well, but they were pretending to be her for years so I guess it makes sense that they'd feel snubbed when Dumbledore only sent a letter telling her to use the portkey so they could 'talk in private'." Myrtle scowled at the reminder of that horrible severance package located in an acromantula nest.
The reminder of the portkey that Ms. Figg had, the one that took his dear Bellatrix into an acromantula nest just from investigating near the location it was tied to, made Quirinus clench his teeth in anger, "Being eaten by an acromantula ... it's cruel. You're actually lucky to be mauled. That would be quick. If you aren't you'll be wrapped up in webs and injected with a venom that will slowly and painfully digested. Sadly, most don't die from that and they suffer feeling the spider suck out their own guts-"
"No more!" Myrtle yelped and plugged her ears. "That's way too much! Out you troublemaker! Go bug Harry and Lucius!" She exclaimed not as angry as she seemed.
"But my innocent eyes might see something inappropriate if I go find them now!" He yelled with mock horror.
"Well that's too bad!" Myrtle yelled, her fake anger breaking down into laughter.
Quirinus snickered, "Well I should make sure they're ready before the ritual. Wish me luck, Aunty!"
"Luck in breaking the ritual or in catching them in the middle of something?" She asked with a suggestive wink.
