now. then. their moments, their emotions, they all blurred together.
garmadon wondered. in another world, would they have been happy together? would she have picked wu? had he not been bitten by the snake, would, could they have been happy?
happiness. a distant memory in the darkness growing in his mind. happiness in his mind took the form of misako.
misako, who was standing in front of him. his wife. she had pledged to never leave him.
she had to leave him.
she didn't have a choice. they didn't have a choice.
all the words echoed in his head. happiness. misako. them.
slowly, they faded away.
