(A/N: This is an original prompt. There is a possibility that I might make this into an actual story but below is all I have so far.)
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Adem: Hebrew; who lived a brave life
Sierra: English derivative of Ciaran; darkWe are surrounded by light and life and darkness and death. They are polar opposites, they balance each other. Without death, there can be no life and without life, there can be no death.
But opposites attract, don't they?
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Adem Larson, a tall, blonde hair, honey eyed 18 year old, is basically the embodiment of life and light itself. Never seen without a smile, he spreads joy to everyone around him. He was soft, loved by everyone. A ray of sunshine.
Sierra Dixon, a short, pale skinned, black haired, blue eyed, 18 year old is the epitome of darkness and disparity. She has been a loner her whole life, outside her family. She gave up on anyone ever wanting to be a part of her life. She was tough, hard as nails, a force to be reckoned with.
When these two young adults crashed into each other's lives they didn't know what to expect.
They didn't expect to keep seeing one another over and over again. They didn't expect to become friends. And they certainly didn't expect to fall in love.
But above all, they never expected to be in the situation they were now.
It all happened so fast, one minute they were walking hand in hand, the next Sierra felt herself being shoved, and then Adem was lying in her lap as she frantically tried to stop his blood from escaping.
Someone was talking to her, something about an ambulance being there in 5 minutes but she wasn't paying attention. She was focused on him and only him.
"Please, please don't leave me." The girl cried.
"I think I might have to." The boy said with a sad smile.
"Why? Why would you push me out of the way?"
"B-Because I couldn't l-live without y-you."
"And what makes you think I can live without you?" Sierra sobbed.
Adem knew he didn't have much time left.
"Sierra, I n-need you t-to promise m-me something."
"W-What?"
"P-Promise me y-you'll continue l-living. Please? F-For me?"
"I-I promise. I'll continue to live for you and only you." Sierra promised with every bit of her heart. "I love you Adem, I love you so much."
Adem looked up at her with a lopsided smile.
"I l-love you t-too."
She watched as the life in his eyes died. As his light faded.
The only thing she heard was the distant sounds of sirens. She heard cries and sobs which she soon realized were her own.
He was gone. The light to her darkness, the calm to her chaos, the joy to her sadness was gone.
Life and light had died so that death and darkness could live.
Rather ironic don't ya think?
