From a tick then a tock as a second pass
To a blue then an orange as the sun sets down
Fear paralyzes my body, anxiety had me at last
As I hear my clock screaming at me with a frownFollow the schedule! Finished that deadline!
I am of slave of something invisible in the eye
What's with the rush? Why the growl when life is fine?
No it's not! You're wrong! You're cruel and I cryWhen the waves are tough and the wind's too strong
Should I fight? My mind is fragile as so as my body
How will I last? The force I'll fight, how long
How long before I jump out of insanity?Do not break the glass, nor move, nor stop, nor throw it away
Let the dunes of time pass by
Let the grains of fate judge you, day by day
You'll come to love, priceless treasures collected now so highTime, you are no ally nor a foe to fight
You're just another part of my life
And I'd gladly accept, embrace the dark and light
In every uncertainty, is hope for an end of strifeThink no more, no less, don't want too much or too little
Smile today, what you have you should love
What once was grim, now dainty and strong, not brittle
'Cause for every tick and a tock, is a gift Above-dawn
