The voices were strong, coercing their owner to do things unheard of to the general population of society, Frank knew what he wanted. It wasn't this.
"WHY?!", Frank screamed, to any normal person. He was clinically insane, but Frank could see everything. The shadows building in the corner, the tendrils coming from the laptop and the spider-like legs reaching through the ceiling,
"Why'd you make me hit her?",
The entity in his mind roared, knocking him to the ground, Frank didn't fulfill the the demands of the creature. Displeasing it beyond regular rage.
"I, understand", Frank groaned standing from his fetal position on the floor, the entity leaving his mind, for now.
Frank looked around his room, seeing Julie's broken watch on the bed made him feel something, remorse? regret? something that he'd rather forget? He loved her, but his life came first.
"I'm going to have to take this into my own hands", he said running the sharp end of his knife down his index finger,
"I'm sorry you guys, I don't have a choice",
Frank's knife skewered his desk as he got to work, formulating a plan to please the entity, and to save his own skin. Hours of his time devoted into blood sweat and tears, until finally, his eyes lit up. Becoming one with his facade.
"Gotcha. Stay tuned for a frenzy", Frank laughed. His mouth curling into a mad grin.
The mask glimmer in the noon sun, marking Frank's departure from society, into a new realm.
