Chapter 9

I said it I said I love him. In that moment that I said those three words I realized what it is that keeps me going. It's him. Something about him makes me feel like I'm about to fall. Or turn into to liquid. Or burst into flames. But it's the thought of him, his touch, his scent, his voice, his eyes. Him. I've longed and dreamed about him for all these years and here he is standing right in front of me. The love of my life. Tobias eaton.

Tobias pov
My small but strong tris. My beautiful tris. My brave tris. My selfless tris. My smart tris. My kind tris. My honest tris. My tris. She said it. She loves me.

I don't know how long we've been staring at each other but it feels like it's been hours when really it's probably only been a few minutes but in these few minutes all the years have washed away and it's just me and tris. In her eyes I see love. "I love you to, Beatrice Pedrad." A tear rolls down her cheek.
I wipe it away with my thumb and bring her into a hug. Her arms around my neck my arms around her waist and our eyes staring deeply into the others.

Tris pov
I hear a moan and it snaps me out of my daze I quickly grab tobias' hand and run back to the school. Once we enter the school we slow to a walk. We head in the direction of mrs priors office hand in hand. I explain everything to tobias. I finish just as we're get to the door to mrs priors office. I still can't call her mum. It's just to weird. I put my hand on the door handle but freeze. Something's wrong I can feel it.

without saying anything we both exit he office and walk down he hallways. I look in a couple of classrooms and everyone is still in class everything looks normal but something still feels off.
4- LETS GO AROUND TO MRS PRIORS WINDOW

we head outside and walk around the back of he school. We walk through the garden and to mrs priors office window. Lucky her office is on the first floor. Toby and I walk to one side of the window and peek in. Damn the blinds are closed. I use my telekinesis and slowly open them. I go really slow so that whoever a inside won't notice.

Once I get them open just enough to look in toby and I look inside and we see mrs prior and the gang tied up sitting on chairs. There's another boy that looks our age tied up as well, he must be caleb. Walking in front of them are 8 people dressed fully in black and one lady dressed in blue. The people dressed in black have guns and look somewhat transfixed. Like their being controlled and not in control of their actions. I take a few steps away from the window and get into to a running position.

I can hear Toby's concern even though he's speaking in my mind.
6- NO BODY TREATS MY BROTHERS AND FRIENDS LIKE THAT.
is all I say back. I take off in a sprint and jump through the window smashing. I through a few fireballs at the three that were first to point there guns at me. The go down screaming I then do a front walk over and kick another guys in the face and throw an ice ball in his face. Next I pick a guy up with my telekenetic power. He has a lot of piercings he shoots me in the shoulder but it heals. I throw an ice ball at him and his hole body is covered in ice and he can't move. Toby has already taken down the other three and now we're both standing looking at the last in the blue. She hold a folder in her right hand. She starts to clap, looking very amused.

"Well, well, well. Look who it is. Beatrice Pedrad or should I say Beatrice Prior. You did know about that right?" She says in an amused yet formal tone. "I will always me a Pedrad. Now who are you? " I practically spit out at her. "Oh Tris don't you remember me. Well here let me help you remember." She says while raising a hand towards me. All of a sudden all these memories start flooding back of labs and this lady and all these tests she put me through. And how she had taken my memories and left me on the streets when she was done. I remember now. I was only twelve when this happened but that was old enough. I suddenly feel anger boil up inside me for her and I struggle not to kill her on the spot. "Jenine"

A/N SO LET ME EXPLAIN A BIT. WHEN TRIS WAS TWELVE SHE WAS STOLEN FROM HER HOME BY JENINE. SO WAS TOBIAS. JENINE RAN ALL THESE TESTS TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO GIVE HERSELF POWERS. SHE COULDNT FIGURE IT OUT. ONCE SHE GAVE UP SHE TOOK ALL TRIS AND TOBYS MEMORIES OF HER AND THE TESTS AND DUMPED THEM AT RANDOM HOUSES. WHEN SHE TOOK TRIS' MEMORIES SHE TOOK HER MEMORIES OF HER FORMER FAMILY AS WELL REPLACING THEM WITH MEMORIES OF THE PEDRAD FAMILY AND TOBY. I THINK THAT EXPLAINS IT IF U HAVE ANY QUESTIONS JUST ASK 😊
