"Huh..." A voice inside her scoffed. "You're dying already? How weak of you." Harmony watched Dark-Harmony in her mind's eye, the girl as mocking as ever.
She sat all prim and proper on a chair, her long legs crossed, an elbow to her knee and a hand cradling one side of her face. "And all it took was some sweet words from a guy to get you distracted." She laughed, throwing back her head. "How pathetic."
Harmony, who would usually talk back, or atleast try to, didn't have the strength to do even that this time. Maybe she was already dead, but she felt devoid of energy, of life. Why was she even here, listening to this person?
"You know, I've always offered a hand." Dark Harmony passed her a pacifying look. "But you're just so stubborn when it comes to me." She stood, wearing high-heeled boots and ripped jeans. She was like that in Harmony's head. A dark contrast, a gothic and confident chic. Compared to the real Harmony, she was stronger, smarter, and most of all, confident.
Even in her mind, Harmony was lying on her side, her eyes barely open. The sideways view she had of her counter-self shifted when she blinked, and now, all she could see was the shape of Dark-Harmony's leather boots. "Get up." She talked her down, her voice cold and icy. "I said get up!"
With a surprised gasp, Harmony's eyes flew open in real life. She breathed heavily, the island air cold on her sweaty skin. Panicked, she quickly pressed a hand on her wound, then raised it to her face. But to her surprise, there was no blood.
There was...no blood?

Juliet knew she had powers. She'd always known, but it was easier to deny it than accept it, considering her life situation. Her parents were rebels of the Clan world, so obviously she wasn't taught how to use them. But she knew....she knew full well what she was capable of.
"So you can turn into a cheetah, huh?" She had braved her mother as a seven year old and told her one day, and the woman was calmly brushing her daughter's ringlets of hair. "That's odd, since your father's animal is different." The brush stopped midway into Juliet's hair, and she watched with anxious eyes as her mother frowned. "You're more like her, then. That leader..."
At the time, Juliet didn't know who she was referring to. But upon her mother's instructions, she vowed to never use her powers ever again. But...it was hard. It was so hard, expecially when someone or something was pissing her off. Her claws would automatically start pushing out of her nails, and she could feel the fangs forming in her mouth. But she managed to control herself. She was good at that.
Or atleast, that's what she believed. Because right now, every part of her body was screaming. As she held tightly onto Austin, she smelt the tangy smell of blood, and not just from him, but from everyone in the room. And suddenly, her eyes were sharper. She could see every movement, even in the darkness. Heck, she felt like she could see better than she did in the light.
One of the cloaked woman stepped up and screamed loudly, and all the others followed suite. Juliet watched as they slowly began to disappear, but strangely enough, she could still see them, or atleast, this weird, blurb-version of them.
Reluctantly, she let go of Austin and stood on the shaky plank, her canines itching. Even to her surprise, she started to hiss like a cat, and she could feel something push out of her head.
Right then, one of the Scorpio ladies attempted to jump on her in her invisible form. What she didn't know, was that Juliet could see her plain as day, and immediately counterattacked, scratching the woman's outstretched hand with her menacing claws.
Blood splattered on the floor, and the woman lost her invisibility. She glared up at Juliet with bloodshot eyes, and Juliet glared back. Her heart was pounding too fast, but she wasn't scared of fainting this time. She knew she wouldn't...not until she got rid of all these hooded witches.
Now fully in her cheetah form, she leaped off the plank. She growled, her back arching up like a cat's, and then, she pounced.
