Someday(Ander Herrera)

Chapter 7

• Maria's POV •

I opened my eyes to find the bed alongside me empty. I spent the night in Ander's bed for the first time. I am still not ready to go back home and face rafael. I just don't want to see him. I thought about Eduarda and Carla. Of course I missed them, I should go visit them today. I rolled around in bed and felt something under me. I looked around and found a little note.

Good morning love,
I'm sorry I had to leave to training but I'll try to come back as soon as possible. When I come back we can go somewhere ;) <3 - Ander

I smiled and folded the paper. I got up from the bed and changed into a blue knit jumper, jeans and black boots. I put my hair in a bun and went into the kitchen. As I walked in I saw the counter filled with fruits, pancakes and juices. I saw another note next to the Orange juice and it read "for you ;)". I smiled once again and I started digging in. Don't blame me, a girls gotta eat.

After breakfast I grabbed my coat & bag and I decided to drive over to Rafa's house to see Eduarda and Carla. Rafael was in training so it was the perfect opportunity. I wasn't going to let a stupid argument get in the way of everyone else. I had a great relationship with Carla and she felt like an older sister to me. I wasn't going to let that slip away. Before I do that, I should call work. I'm going to get fired anyways.

"Hi it's Maria Da silva. I apologize for not making it to my first day yesterday. I had to deal with personal issues"

"It's okay ma'am. You only missed training and next week is when you mactually start working" a man spoke on the other side of the line as I sighed with relief. Thank god I didn't lose the job. I've worked really hard for this to happen.

"Thank you so much! You have no idea how relieved I am! Have a great day sir"

"Same to you ma'am" and I hung up my phone and slid it into my back pocket.

I took a seat on the gray plush couch in Rafa's living room. It's been only a few days that I've been away but I really missed being here.

"So when are you going to come back and make amends with your brother?" Carla asked handing me a cup of coffee. I thanked her and took a sip.

"I don't know. Is he still mad?"
"Not really. He's more upset with Ander than you"
"I wish he would just accept that I'm old enough to make my own decisions"
"I don't think he ever will. He loves and protects you too much to understand"
"Well I guess he just has to deal with it because I like Ander a lot"
"He will eventually. Give him time" I sighed and put Eduarda on my lap.

"Can you take me to the playground auntie?"
"Yeah sure of course" I said and we headed out of the door.
"Have fun you two!" Carla shouted as we headed out.

• Ander's POV •

I gulped down my Gatorade as I walked back to our lockeroom with Juan & Dave. The training session wasn't bad but I did get death glares from rafael today. He couldn't do anything while the manager is around.

I walked in the lockeroom and went to my place next to Robin van persie. He wore a dirty look on his face. I'm guessing rafa talked to him. I decided to ignore it and just get my stuff so I can go see maria. As I was doing that I felt someone brush up behind me. I turned around to see who it was and I came face to face with a fist. Everything suddenly became dark & blurry.
