Someday(Ander Herrera)

Chapter 6

• Maria's POV •

Today was my first day at my new Job and I'm really excited. Working at sky sports and getting to cover the premier league is a dream come true. I will get to work with Hayley McQueen whose pretty much an idol for me.

I put on a new blazer, a black skirt and white flats. I put my hair in a ponytail and applied light makeup. I heard my brother shouting my name and I ran to see what he was calling me for.

"What is this?" He asked in a serious tone. He held a boquet of flowers addressed to me. It had a note that read -

"Goodluck on your first day of the new job! Xoxo" - Ander Herrera

"I can explain" I gulped
"What's he doing sending you flowers? When did you ever talk to him?" He asked getting angry.
"He's just being nice, what's wrong with that?!"
"What's wrong is that he's my teammate and he's dating you. He didn't even ask for permission!"
"Why does he need your permission? I am 22 years old dammit. I choose who I want to date!" I said screaming of frustration. I suddenly felt his palms hit my cheek with great force. Carla dragged rafael away and I heard Eduarda crying. I couldn't take the atmosphere around me anymore and I stormed out of that house.

I grabbed the keys to my car and hit the breaks. I stopped for a minute as frustation took over me. Tears were streaming down my face and so was my eye makeup. I decided to head to ander's house so we can talk through this. I needed someone to console me and understand my situation. It was enough that I'm already missing my first day of work.

I arrived at ander's house and I knocked on the door. He opened it and I was brightened with his beauty and smile but that smile faded. I fell into his Arms and I never wanted to let go. I started sobbing once again as Ander embraced me tightly.

"What happened maria?"
"Rafael happened. He saw the flowers that you sent me and he went berzerk"
"I'm so sorry, I thought it would make you less nervous about your first day"
"Ander, I love the flowers and it was a really sweet gesture. It wasn't your fault that rafael overreacts"

"Did he slap you?" He asked as he rubbed my red left cheek.
"Yeah"
"I'm sorry baby" he said and took me into his arms once again.

"If you're going to get hurt because of me, maybe we shouldn't be together. As much as I want to be with you, I don't want to see you getting hurt" he said while holding my palms.

"Ander I'm not going to let my brother stop our relationship. I don't care what he says. I'll stay with my friend for the next couple of days cause I can't go back there at least for now"

"You can stay with me if you want" he offered as I looked around his large home.
"Thank you" I said with a light smile as he kissed me on the forehead.

Kathy arrived at ander's house after 8:00 pm to bring me some clothes from rafael's house.

"Thanks Kathy. You're great help"
"No problem Mar. Eduarda kept asking me about you"
"She's going to be the one that I'm going to miss. She always makes me smile on days like these"
"Try to see her soon. She really loves you mar"
"I'll go see her at the next training session so I can talk to Eduarda too"
"Alright maria. I should get going. Take care of her Ander!" She said embracing me.

"Don't worry. She's in caring hands" he said to her and gave me a smile.
"Bye Kat, drive safe" I said as she pulled the breaks in her car.

I closed the door and headed into ander's room. I changed into my pajamas and I was ready to sleep. My eyes were closing from all the tears. Ander was still in the living room. He told me that I can sleep in his bed tonight since the other rooms weren't as cozy.

I climbed into the bed and before I knew it, my soul left my body for the night.

I woke up sweating and screaming around 2:00 am. I had a nightmare but I couldn't even Remember anything of it. I couldn't comprehend anything.

"What's going on maria?" Ander said as he got up from the floor. Turns out that he slept on a mattress on the ground so I can have the bed.

"Don't let go of me please" I said sobbing on his chest as he held my body tightly.

"Shhhhh Maria it's going to be alright don't worry. I'm not going to let go of you"
"Thank you" I whispered as my crying lessened.
"Lie back down Maria. You need to sleep"
"Can you stay with me please?"
"Of course baby" he said and climbed into bed by my side. I burried myself into his chest and covered up with a blanket. Ander kissed my head as I drifted back to sleep. He whisprered something into my ear but I fell asleep before hearing what it was.

- I AM SO SORRY FOR TAKING A WHOLE WEEK TO UPDATE THIS. HONESTLY IT FELT EVEN LONGER. Once again school took most of my time and also Netflix. I've been binge watching prison break and it's really unhealthy for me. ANYWAYS ENOUGH ABOUT MY BORING LIFE, HOW ARE YOU GUYS? ANYTHING EXCITING YOU WANT TO TELL ME?
Also I don't know if you care but luke shaw tweeted me & my friend suhaymaaah today and We actually had tears coming out of our eyes when we saw it.
