Samantha Spark's POV

"Why Mackenzie?" I ask "Why him?"

"He's cute." She says pointing to Zane from 8. "I'm going to align with him."

She says and skips over to him. I follow her. Well maybe if she gets to chose who we have to align with, I'm gonna choose someone as well. I look around the big room that all the tributes are in. My eyes land on a couple people but one stands out. Sam from district 10. Yup, he will due. I walk over to him and he is sitting alone.

"Hey." I say

"Hey." He responds

"You come here often?" I say. Did I really just say that?

"Sorry, um do you want to align with me, my sister and Zane?" I ask him

"Sure." He says smiling.

Great now I have allies.

Michelle Lux POV

"Come on!" Says Piper from my district. "The careers are meeting over here!"

We walk over and there are already a few people there. Kyle and Maverick from our district are here, as well as Luke from 4. Soon the twins Katie and Jones from 2 show up. Then Tiffany and Miles from 2 show up. Shortly after Caspian from 4 shows up. The only ones missing are the two girls from 4.

"Where are the two girls from 4?" I ask

"They aligned with two outer district kids." Says Piper

"What weapons do we all use?" Asks Kyle

"A trident." Says Caspian and Luke at the same time

"I can use a mace." I say

"I've trained with a bow." Says Piper

"Throwing knives." Says Katie

"A dagger." Says Maverick

"A spear." Says Miles

"I can only use a sword." Says Tiffany

"Crossbow." Says Jones

"Great." Says Kyle "I can use whip."

I'm super excited to be apart of the careers!

Elizabeth Archer POV

"Umm. No thanks." I say to Ginger and Crystal

"Whatever." Ginger mumbles and walks away.

Then my boyfriend, Quentin walks up to me and wraps me in his arms. He smells like home.

"What did they want?" He asks

"They wanted me to be apart of an alliance but I declined." I say

"Well I'm glad you did." He says and kisses me on the cheek.

"I love you." He whispers

"I love you too." I say

"Eww! Hey get a room you two!" Yells Haymitch the boy from 12. He is sitting with Maysilee from his district as well. They are definitely aligning. Quentin looks like he's about to go over and punch him. But he doesn't.

"Bitch." He mutters

Bethany Gram POV

"We are so gonna win this!" I say to my two new allies.

"I agree." Says Chantel

"Nobody can stop us!" Shouts Ashley

"Okay, so what's are game plan?" I ask

"Well I think that we should have at least two of us run to the cornucopia." Says Ashley "I'd be willing to go."

"Me as well." I say

"I'm not afraid ether." Says Chantel

"Great we can all go in grab our desired weapons, food and water and we will be set." I say

"What if we aren't close to each other in the bloodbath?" Asks Chantel

"We can meet in the direction that the cornucopia faces." I say

"We are gonna win!" Shout Ashley

Dale Hunter POV

My little sister, Lucy comes running back.

"I found out most of the alliances and their plans." She says trying to catch her breath

Yes! My little sister should be a spy.

"What did you find?" I ask

"Well their are six main alliances. The careers, a girls alliances consisting of Crystal, Ginger, Astrid, Alexis and Andrea. Then there is a huge boys alliance consisting of Ethan, Michael, Timothy, Drake, Preston and Eric. Then there is a group of four with the twins girls from 4 and a boy from 8 and a boy from 10. There is also a group of 12 year olds aligning consisting of April, Ian, Ryan and Ellie. Finally there is a group of 3 girls, Ashley, Chantel and Bethany. After that there are only pairs and people going solo. The pairs are Elizabeth and Quentin, Maysilee and Haymitch, Coral and Lea, Kale and Peter and us. The tributes going solo are Fredrick, Courteney, Greg, Volt, Electric and Rue." She says in one breath.
