(The Once-ler's POV)
I sat at the cafe table, reading a book, drinking some coffee. I look up and notice a peculiar looking man in front of me. His face seemed to be made of golden like material. He was undoubtedly handsome, but I could never be with him. Not just because I didn't know him, but because, well, because of my past. No one would want to know me, much less date me. "So, what's your name?" I ask. No response.
"Well... I go by-" I paused to stop myself. I can't just tell this guy who I am. "Michael..." Golden Face flinched when I said that. Oops... I hope I didn't anger him or anything...
"I'm..." He began. I widened my eyes.
"My name is..."
