Sheik watched as Link set up his camp somewhere deep in the Gerudo Highlands.
I should've known this would happen. There's no way he'd go home after I suddenly disappeared. Oh well, I'm sure I can find their hideout on my own from here.
Sheik continued on by himself after making sure Link was asleep. Hearing his name confirmed his suspicions. That was the name of the Legendary Hero. At least, that's what he heard from the Great Deku Tree.
Hours after Link pulled the sword...
Zelda walked into the Korok Forest and was greeted by many Koroks.
"Princess! Princess!" They greeted her.
Zelda giggled.
"Hello there!"
"Princess! He was here! He's alive!"
"Pardon?"
"Mr. Hero!" Sumi exclaimed.
"Mister.....Hero?"
The Great Deku Tree awakened after this conversion, and butt in.
"Sumi tells the truth. I have good news for you. The Hero of Legend is alive and well."
Zelda then noticed the Master Sword was missing. He was right. Then that means...
"Although, I have unfortunate news to share."
"Were my suspicions correct?" She asked.
"Indeed. He...does not know who he is. His mind has been corrupted, I'm afraid."
"I was afraid of that, but I suppose it's good news that he's alive in this lifetime at all. When did he take the sword?"
"Just a little before you got here."
"Then that means..."
"Did you come in contact with him?"
"I believe I have, if it is the same person. I saw someone with a sword unlike any I've seen in person, and this particular person is someone I've coincidentally bumped into countless times now."
"I see."
"And when I asked to see his sword, or asked for his name, he ran off. He seemed rather..."
"Jumpy?"
"Yes, that is exactly it. He has never been to Satori Mountain, which is where we first met. Could it be he was truly isolated?"
"I'm afraid so, princess."
"His name. I want to know his name."
"The chosen Hero's name is, like the other hero's of the past, Link."
"Interesting. I fully believe this is him, but I must find out for myself first, just to be sure."
"Is that why you've come here? To ask me if I've seen him?"
She nodded.
"Yes, and you've been a great help. Thank you, Great Deku tree."
...
That night, Zelda went to the Spring of Power, to pray to the Goddess that Link found out who he truly is. When she made it there, she was left with a pleasant surprise. Link.
...
When she was confident Link left after her praying to the statue that she wants to be his friend, she started praying for what she really wanted.
