Today, Veronika and L were 15 years old. Wammy's house.. Veronika's alarm had went off, tiredly she put it on snooze. L had knew she was gonna do that, so he had barged in her room to wake her up. "Hey, wake up". L had said annoyed, "mhmm". Veronika mumbled "Please hurry up, or else were gonna be late-". he said, "Tsk.. fine". She said, she told him to close his eyes and turn arorund, while she puts on her clothes. Veronika has a black hoodie.. with a meduim skirt with some black stockings. "Okay, let's go!". They both ran into their classrooms, luckily there weren't late. PHEW!! They sat down in there chairs and where their desk was, L obviosly sat down the way he would , knee's always onto his chest and more importantly his feet was always on the chair-. The Teacher would sometimes tell him to sit properly, but majorty of the time he wouldn't listen.

[Veronika's POV]
L and I were top of the classes of Wammy's House, well if it wasn't for L.. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be the top of my classes of Wammy's house. I mean c'mon now! I know I was smart it's just that.... I never really used it that much, which was dumb of me. Oh! And if you were wondering, how I knew L, lets just say this Wammy's house is a Orphange. And you're wondering why was I in a orphange?
[FLASHBACK]
"MOMMY! DADDY! Where ARE YOU GOING! Don't leave me please...", "t-t-they w-were gone.." I was left at some Liquor store, were all the "Crackheads" are. I buried my legs/knee's on my face, e-everything.. why were they leaving me, what did I DO wrong... I felt something or someone touch my my shoulder, I looked up to see, who was it. It was a Old man? He had a mustache, with glasses. "Where are you're parents" he said, "t-they l-left.. Gone". I had said. "My name is Watari, please come with me", I was hesitant at first.. but at this point I didn't care anymore, I took his hand, we were walking til we got in to a car. We drove off and the car stopped, the door opened, c'mon as I looked up it was a huge building! I was amazed.. I looked up to my left and saw a sign that said "Wammy's House", hm? I was confused. where was I? But then I noticed a HUGE gate, it opened.. then we walked in this strange tall building. I countinued to follow Watari and I'm guessing we went upstaris. And Watari stopped at the room.. "this will be you're room for now".. Watari has said, calmly. But then I should of realized that I would of been staying here for the rest of my childhood/teen life.
[Veronika's POV again]
That's how I met L, he was so shy (they were around 5-6 at this timeline but dont worry there gonna be 15 yrs old just wait) he was new to the Orphanage, Roger had told him to go to MY room but I didn't mind. L had plopped on my bed where a bunch of my manga's were. "Hey, whats your name?'' I had said to L. U-uh m-my name is L-Lawliet.... He seemed so embarraesed, "Thats a cool name" I said.. His eyes lit up but yet still sad or shy. Hmm? We should be friends forever! I said proudly! F-friends? He said stutteredly, "Well no.. I changed my mind", I had said.. he lookd more sad, when I had said that. "Best friends instead!" I said more happily. The frown on his face, turned to a gentle smile. YAY! I started to jump on my bed. And yeah, thats how me and L met.
[Regular POV, There now 15 yrs old right now]
While the teacher was explaining the lesson, Someone whispered to Veronika. "hey do you know the answer to queston 6?'' "No, I don't." Veronika whispered back, "Stop lying, you're literally one the smartest people of the top classes". The person had said, "Well even if I do know even though "I don't".. I wouldn't tell you." Veronika whispered. "Just leave me alone..", "C'MON PLEASE, I KNOW YOU CAN HELP ME!!". The peron yelled, "...." . "LEAVE ME ALONE" Veronika yelled. All eyes were on Veronika and the person. (btw the person is a he or a boy) Even L was staring at them, "What is the problem", the Teacher had said.. the Teacher had seemed REALLY angry, but Veronika face reaction seemed like she didn't care. "THIS BOY HERE IS NOT LEAVING ALONE, HE KEEPS FREAKING BOTHERING ME!" Veronika had yelled, "You're such a liar, YOU were bothering me!'' The boy had said, "YOU LIAR! STOPING BEING SUCH A DOUCHE BAG AND TELL THE TRUTH!". Veronika yelled AGAIN.. "Detention for both y'all!", the Teacher had said. "What! I didn't even do anything! Veronika had said.. "well maybe if you didn't yell and watch you're language, this wouldnt have been happening.", the teacher had said. "Well anyways you guys may be dismissed.. and Veronika and Haruto you should know why.. "So, thats his name," Veronika thought.
"Tsk...", Veronika said with anger.. "I'd like to stay" L said. "HM?!".. ''Why would you want to do that?!" the teacher had said, ''because obviosly I want to stay with Veronika, plus Veronika and I have to work on something". L said so calmy, "W-whatever do want you want." The teacher then said and left the classroom, "w-why would you do that L?" "because like I said we have to work on one of the cases, now shall we start?''. "Y-yes.. let's start.'' Veronika said while blushing, (and yes they are working on cases even tho they are 15 at the moment right now soo).

This is my first fanfiction ever, and ik this isn't a "L X reader'' ik im sorry but i just got rlly bored and i wanted to do me x L sooo yeah if soemis reading this I hope you enjoy this! And yes I will be making parts for this, matter of fact I'm gonna be making part 2 right now! Soo stay tunee!
