A sudden nightmare, the first (y/n) had in a long time, woke her. The last time she had a nightmare, she was a small child. The young woman rose from her place beside Santana, the vermillion haired man had a strong grip on her still. Her hand found its way to his head and smoothed over his hair. His stony face was calm and gentle in the state of slumber he was in. (Y/n) felt sharp eyes on her, "It's kind of surprising that you are still up." "I'm a light sleeper.," the voice of Kars replied. "My apologies, master.," she spoke softly and ran her hand over Santana's hair. The youngest pillar was in a deep and restful sleep.
"(Y/n).," Kars' voice caught her ears as he used her name for the first time, "You are forcing yourself to carry on, even with the pain of your fractured bones and self destructive power. How? You are not able to heal like we can, you only gain scars." "Call it what you will, Stubbornness, determination, a will to live.," (y/n) replied, "I'll keep going until my body gives out." "And why is that?," Kars asked. The blind woman 'looked' down to the face of Santana and then to Wamuu. She looked to be considering her answer. Like there was something she was hiding, determining if it was worth telling this ancient and powerful being.

"I can clearly see the futures of everyone else. My high school classmates, the joestars, you. But, I can never get a clear glimpse of mine, save for big events or danger.," the young woman replied, "I have no future from what I see. I succumb to my power." The violet haired man continued to watch the woman, "Perhaps you don't succumb to your powers. You can act as a caring figure and pet for my warriors." The woman did not reply to him. Her hand petted Santana's head. "That almost sounds like you are offering that future.," The blind woman spoke softly as to not wake the sleeping others around them. "And what if I am?," Kars asked. (Y/n) made a small smile, "Is this coming from a place that wants to spite the Joestars, or for the care of your allies?" "You could say it is a bit of both.," Kars answered. His head wrap was not on his head, his long hair was out. "My warriors are fond of you. And I can see that you care about them as well.," the pillar man leader said as he watched the woman who was caring for the youngest warrior.
Her face was kind as she 'gazed' down at Santana. "He looks so peaceful. It's sweet.," the human woman smiled, "They both do." She could feel the pillar leader watch her still, his sharp red eyes that were watching every minute move she made. "Don't use your power to the point that it harms you anymore. If you injure yourself three more times, you will die.," Kars ordered, "If you can use it without hurting yourself, then you can. I still need to know where the stone is." The quiet between them was cut by Esidisi's snoring. Santana's warm breath heated (y/n)'s lap as his head lay on it. "What if my power kills me before I can tell you where the stone is?," (y/n) asked, "It is true that it hurts me, no matter what I do with it. Three times is not much chance for an accurate position."

"Then you have to make the two you can use count. We already know it is a cemetery, all you need to find out is where the cemetery is.," Kars spoke. "It's a cemetery that has a bit of a view. I could see an ocean in the distance, the stones all had English text.," (y/n) spoke honestly, "An English speaking country." "That narrows it down quite a bit.," the red eyed man mused. "I can try and read the headstone. But, that would take up one of my chances.," (y/n) offered. "I'll allow it.," the pillar leader responded and watched the woman focus. He could sense her power flare. A power that was tearing her apart, from the inside out. He could smell the blood inside her body spill and watched her body weaken even more as she used her power. From her silence she began to speak again, "Elisabeth... family... Joseph Joestar..."
Kars made a sharp noise, "The hamon master, Lisa Lisa?" "I think so.," (y/n) replied, "The stone is there. In that cemetery with her." The pillar man leader and the human woman were quiet before the blind woman spoke again, "America." "America... we will have to get on a plane to get there.," Kars spoke, "Head west to keep in the darkness of night." "While Joseph will head east.," (y/n) murmured as blood started to spill from the reopened wounds on her legs. She felt a hand on her exposed legs that melted into her flesh, "Master Kars?" "I'm sealing the wounds shut. It is only temporary.," She heard him reply, "It would be cruel to let the pet suffer." The woman stayed quiet. Was aware that this was more for his warriors than it was for her.
