Chapter Twenty-seven: Party crashers

After shopping more, (y/n) and Holly went back to the Kujo residence. The younger woman helped the older to put away the groceries before going to her room to put the things she got from the stores up. She 'looked' at the last bag from a boutique that they visited. "Mrs. Kujo is too kind. She did not have to give me this.," the young woman said to herself. She placed the bag into her luggage and closed the suitcase. She used her stand to look at herself, no scars. The makeup made her look like she was normal. Like there was nothing wrong with her. No scars or past trauma. Not until she opened her eyes at least. The young woman stood and looked at herself in the mirror. She actually looked pretty good. She walked out of the room and saw Jotaro walking with Polnareff, the two seemed to be talking before Polnareff wad distracted. "Jotaro! Who is that? She's hot!," the Frenchman asked. "That's (y/n). Mom took her shopping and they bought some makeup to cover her scars with.," the Japanese teen said as Polnareff and he walked closer to the young woman.
Polnareff took the young woman's hand. "Hello, Polnareff.," (y/n) greeted. "Mon cher, you are beautiful.," Polnareff said and kissed her hand, "Miss Holly has invited us to a party. She invited her friends and some neighbors. Kakyoin's family will be here too." "That sounds fun. I probably should help her to get ready.," the blind woman said. "That's a good idea, we can all help get ready for this!," the silver haired Frenchman cheered as Jotaro pulled his hat down and walked away.

Polnareff and (y/n) went to see Holly about what they could do to help with the party. Holly had Polnareff help Joseph and the others Set up for the party. (Y/n) stayed with Holly to help prepare and cook some of the food. Entropy was a great help with preparing vegetables to cook, her may tentacles could wash and cut the vegetables at a great speed. (Y/n) added some seasonings to the food as Holly instructed her how to. Holly sang and hummed as they worked. "If I had a daughter, I would want her to be like you.," Holly said with a smile, "You hold yourself very proudly." "I learned that from my father.," (y/n) replied, "He was a proud man." "What happened to your family?," Holly inquired. "I... don't know. But I know they are deceased.," the young woman replied, "But I found a new family in the friends I made with your son and father. And the others." "Welcome to our family.," the blonde woman smiled, "I'm glad to have another friend." "So am I.," the young woman replied and finished cutting the vegetables with her stand.
"Oh, perfect. Now that this is done, we can get ready for the party. We are going to wear what we bought today.," Holly chimed, "I'll help you put yours on and do your hair. You'll look so pretty for Mr. Polnareff." "You really did not have to get that, how much do I owe you?," the blind woman asked. Holly tittered, "You do not owe me anything." Holly pulled the young woman back to the guest room to put on the outfit.

Holly was an expert at putting the traditional dress on (y/n). It was a very colorful furisode that had a ocean life pattern, blues and greens were prevalent in the patterns, a purple obi tied the robe on and a white fluffy fur collar. Holly pulled the blind woman's hair up and fastened it with the pretty hair decorations they got that day. "Wow, you're absolutely beautiful!," the blonde woman cheered before going to get her own dress on. (Y/n) called Entropy out to look at herself. She looked like one of those models from the posters of the shop she got this from. She opened her eyes and they looked like freshwater pearls. She put on some shoes that were comfortable and waited for Holly to come back. She felt the air getting colder. The sun was setting. The blind woman heard footsteps from Holly coming back, Entropy allowed her to see Holly. She was wearing a red Kimono that had flower designs on it. She was pretty. "(Y/n)-chan, the sun is going down, that means the party is almost started. Let's take everything out, okay?," The blonde asked. "Alright.," the younger woman replied and followed Holly.
(Y/n) followed Holly's footsteps, carefully listening for them as she walked in the kimono she wore. The young woman followed Holly out to the area where the party was being held, a small town park. Joseph and the others were already there. Kakyoin and his family were also there, Kakyoin's mother had pretty red hair like her son. The blind woman had her stand out so she could be aware of things around her during the party. She felt Holly take her hand and pull her over to where Joseph and the others were, "Papa, look, doesn't she look pretty?" "Mon cher, you look gorgeous. Like a princess in a folktale.," Polnareff said, a grin was evident in his tone. "If I'm the princess, you're the knight.," the blind woman grinned back.
