the next morning everyone besides tess wakes up early to make breakfast and talk about christmas as it it coming up in 2 days
b- so what are we doing for christmas guys
n- i was thinking we can do a secret santa
l- thats a great thing to do , maybe we can learn more about each other
n- great so all of us put our names in a box , we shake it up ,and whoever we get we buy them or make them a present . then on christmas we can give our gifts
k- so when are we gonna pick
n- we have to wait until babe- i mean tess wake up
b- what did you just say
n- i said we have to wait until tess wake up
b- no you didn't
n- yes i did and you cant tell me otherwise , convo dropped
b- fine for now
t- ( wakes up and walks to the kitchen )
all - hey tess
t-( morning voice ) hey y'all
n- (whispers ) fuck , i love her voice
b- what did you say nia ?
n- i said noise , yeah i didn't want to make any noise

k- so tess , nia came up with this secret santa thing that we was gonna do this year . are you in ?

k- great . i already put your name on piece of paper you just have to choose someone and don't say who you have until we open the presents christmas morning .
all- okay
k- now i will pic first ( pulls a name out of the hat )
b- me next ( pulls )

n- i guess i'll go ( pulls )
t- and i will take the last name
n- great everyone has a name and remember don't share it with anyone else
k- booker can i talk with you in the hallway for a moment
b- yeah( walks in the hallway) so what did you wanna talk about

k- because , we can join together and get them something big . or do something big

k- uhhh , wait that's perfect . we can decorate the living room how tess had it the christmas she asked nia to be her gf the very first time
b- oh yeah and how she bought her that promise ring that had that diamond on it
k- yes all we have to do is recreate that and they should be back together in no time
b- question , how do we decorate the living room when we are supposed to be staying in there to open presents and more importantly tess is sleeping on the couch
k- we are gonna have to tell tess that she has to stay in one of the guest bedrooms until christmas because we want to decorate for christmas early
b- okay so lets get started with planning

b- ( sees tess heading to the couch) uh tess

b- is it okay if you sleep in the guest bedroom for tonight and night

b- because i wanted to decorate the living room for christmas but i wanted to do it early so im gonna start tonight and finish tomorrow
t- oh okay ( walks upstairs to the empty guest room )
THE NEXT MORNING ( CHRISTMAS EVE)
everyone is sleep while kylie and booker are decorating the living room for nia and tess gift
k- so how are gonna hide this so no one sees it before tomorrow ?
b- already ahead of you .( pulls out a curtain from a bag on the couch ) this is a curtain , we are gonna hang it up to block off the living room until tomorrow . that way no one knows about it besides us 2
k- what of someone tries to open the curtain
b- i have a lock that closes the 2 openings of the curtain if someone besides are fingerprints touch it , the alarm will go off
k- smart thinking babe , now lets hurry up before they start to wake up and come down
1 hour later
they finally finish as everyone comes down to eat breakfast .
l- hey , why is there a curtain blocking the living room ?
k- that's my secret santas gift . the person that i have gift is over there and i didnt want them to see or touch it . so the living room is off limits today
l- then where would we open the presents at tomorrow
k- the kitchen , the dining room , the patio
l- right i forgot .
b- has any one seen nia and tess
l- i saw tess in the bathroom this morning but i haven't seen nia
k- maybe their making up
l- i doubt that , last night nia tried to go in the guest room where tess was staying at to apologize and tess locked the door and left her outside the door for 3 hours begging to come in and talk . when i walked out my room this morning nia was asleep on the door in the hallway
b- wow
t- hey guys ( walks down stairs )
all- hey
b- why you look so tired
t- because your sister was banging at my door all night wanting to talk
b- so why didn't you answer her
t-idk , it didn't feel like the right time
