Gwaine POV

Once we entered the training grounds, I took Zara into the weapons table, on the table there was daggers, swords, bow and quivers, etc.

"So which is your sword arm?" I ask.

"Oh, my right," Zara replied.

"That's good," I said, smiling," okay, try this sword; see if it is balanced for you." Zara took the sword from my hands and started moving her arm with the sword.

"It's brilliant, thank you, Gwaine," Zara laughed," Can I ask you a question?"

"Yeah, of course," I replied, smiling, as I took my sword form the weapons table.

"Not meaning to be rude, but, who was that old man that was standing next to Merlin?" Zara asked.

"Oh, that man, his name is Gaius, he is the Court Physician in the palace, as well as Merlin's carer," I reply," anyway, now, should we not get training."

"Come on, then, stop sitting down and get your lazy bum up!" Zara shouts," Now, I am injured so you are at an advantage." Then for some reason she smiles her cheeky smile and then suddenly, she lifted her sword so quickly and slammed it against mine. "Rule one, Sir Gwaine, always be ready for an attack," Zara shouted over the noise of our swords clashing. 3-6 minutes later, I, Sir Gwaine, was on the floor with one sword aim for my chest and another sword aiming for my throat, with the sound of clapping and laughing from Guinevere, Queen of Camelot.

"Gwaine, you're losing your fighting touch, are you not," Guinevere laughed, from her chamber window," please bring the young lady upstairs to the throne room," Guinevere then closed the window and went out of her room.

"Come on, Zara, the Queen of Camelot wishes to talk to you," I laugh, as I try and get up.

Zara's POV

"Gwaine, you're losing your fighting touch, are you not," a young woman aged around 20-24 years old laughed, from her chamber window," please bring the young lady upstairs to the throne room," The young woman then closed the window and went out of her room.

"Come on, Zara, the Queen of Camelot wishes to talk to you," Gwaine laughs, as he tries to get up.

"Why?" I ask, nervously, as I have never met someone of royalty before.

"I have absolutely no idea, why, I guess she wants to meet you and ask where you have learnt those sword fighting skills from,"

"Ok...kay," I say, nervously.

"Are you nervous," Gwaine mocks, as he puts both our swords on the weapons table.

"Oh, shut up, Gwaine," I groaned, as I kissed him on the cheek.

Gwaine turned around and looked at me in a surprised expression, and I just looked at the ground as I blushed.

"Um, we should probably go and see the queen," I stutter.

"Meygn, I mean, yeah, we should," Gwaine mumbles, as he smiles a bit, while he is touching the cheek which I kissed him on.

"Ah, which way?" I ask. God, this is awkward.

"This way," he said, as he showed me a staircase, which led to the upstairs corridor.

As we walked down the corridor, I thought, 'Okay, two options, option 1, I apologise for kissing him on the cheek, or option 2, .forget what happened downstairs and hopefully he will forget too.' Sadly, I went and chose option 2.

"Okay, we're here," Gwaine announced, as he nodded at the guards and the guards opened the doors for us.

As the doors opened, I could see the young Queen of Camelot sitting down on her throne, while she was talking to Gaius.
