Chapter 14

WHILE KAMYLL was busy talking to her brother I looked around until Harriett wanted to talk to me also. I don't have anything to do so, why not? I mean what could go wrong? Kamyll did a good job forgiving her mother and I think their relationship is slowly getting better by the day. I wonder what will happen tomorrow, I really want to do something with Kamyll.

I just hope it'll last. So that she won't have to suffer from sadness.

"You wanted to talk to me?" I asked making sure I was hearing things right. Harriett stopped walking and turns her gaze at me. She smiled sadly and spoke,

"I wanted to thank you for making Kamyll happy whenever I'm not around for her. As a mother," She paused and went up to me. Harriett chuckled, "And I want to apologize for-" She paused and her face darkened.

"Leaving you back then" She said.

I was battling between to say 'it's okay' or I would ask her why she left. I mean she left like a ghost not telling me where she went. I know stars have left Celestial but, we just can't eat the berries and escape.

The only part in Celestial to leave is actually at the center. Where the 12 kingdoms border met. The capital.....

"It's okay, I have Kamyll now. That's what's important, to see her happy and well" I said looking down at the ground and put my hands on my pocket.

I still haven't get use to looking at other people's eyes.

Only my friends, and Kamyll herself.

"Taurus, you can just ask me if there are some things you want to know" She said. I slowly lifted my head and spoke, "Fine, tell me the reason why you left? Without telling me. Coming here on earth with no traces. Did you steal a berry?" I asked. Those questions are the most common in my head.

Harriett smiled and took a seat, "I left because I wasn't happy at our kingdom. We were starving and I heard news about the wonderful wonders here on earth. I didn't tell you because you're a prince you might tell your parents about my plan in escaping Celestial. I found a berry Taurus, I didn't steal it. I found one and ate it and left." She paused.

Harriett then crossed her legs and continues talking, "When I arrived here on earth, I was happy because I could eat the food my stomach wanted for years and I even grow up with a perfect adopted family here. Time here on earth is actually faster and that affected my age, I may be 26 at Celestial but here on earth I'm only 56 Then I met that bastard and won miss Universe which actually made me realize that my beauty has a use unlike Celestial who doesn't care. Then I had Giancarlo and I felt like a complete woman in this planet." Harriett then stood up and grabs a glass of wine.

Pride, lust and greed...

I knew it.

"Then that bastard left for a runway to Italy and I was on my one, he wasn't there when I needed him and technically his brother was there. And then without that bastard noticing that I had Kamyll. I decided to keep it as a secret. Then the abduction happened." Harriett paused and took a sip.

"You want?" Harriett asked as she showed me the wine, I immediately shake my head from side to side. "Tss, then the abduction happened. Yes, I was a bastard myself for having favoritism over my children. I hated Kamyll for letting Giancarlo get abducted-"

I cut her off, "It wasn't her fault, and if it weren't for your pride you should have protected them both, if you weren't so blind Kamyll should have been mentally stable." I said like I was rapping, Harriett just smiled and play with her wine.

"And if that never happened, you would never met her. Remember Taurus this is a prophecy..." Harriett paused,

"I know it's my fault. I hated her for that and nothing more, and then she got abducted I wanted to save her but, Antonio threatened me not too. Since he knew what Kamyll's background really is the day Kamyll's father died. But thankfully her best friend Liam was there to shot that man's stomach. But, not enough to kill him."
