Chapter 9

I WOKE UP from the pain that I am currently feeling on my chest. All I can see is my window's view of the kingdom. My head all the way to my toes hurt. I wanted to remember what happened but it freaking hurts! I just wanna know....

I stood up and gathered all my energy to visit my friends. Asking my Mom will just let me run on circles. The moment I step outside my room, my body gave up. Telling me that I'm not ready to go out and soar.

Then I heard something from afar, "I'm sorry". A familiar voice echoed in my mind as I drifted into sleep.

Kamyll?

I woke up again and this time, stronger. I took my chances and was able to leave my room. Someone then came running from the halls, it was my dear mother. She looked at me like she was very proud. I just smiled and take a moment to talk to her.

"Me and your father are very proud of you my son," She said, I took a sip of the tea and realize it was a lemon tea. But we don't have this fruit. My mother noticed my questionable face and spoke.

"The moment you and your friends came back with your orb, new food and creatures were summoned in every kingdom." She said with a amazed face.

So we had food this good before our orb was stolen? I never knew, they were never written on our old books. Or did the kings and queens just forbid their children unto knowing what the orb is really capable off.

"While you were away retrieving our kingdom's orb, your father." Mother paused, that's when I realize he isn't here on the dining room. I observed mother's face and then it hit me.

"He isn't here anymore. am I right?" I asked, I know Mother was holding back the tears but she failed.

He's gone?

Does that mean--"Welcome back your Majesty" My mother said as she stood up and curtsy to me. What? Something doesn't feel right. I smiled weakly and then the next thing I knew, I was already standing in front of my father's grave.

Holding with me some flowers I pick from my garden. I put it down and squatted.

Should I be angry for teaching me to lie? I mean you never told me that it hurts me. Why do you even taught me that Dad? I thought.

I stood up and made a promise, "Now that I return our orb back I think I know what's next." I paused and put my hands on my cloak's pocket and look at the view.

You pick a great view to be buried Dad.

Not bad..

"I'll try to change for the better Dad. I promise you, I'll take care of Letum. But this time with no lies." I said and left.

Time passed as the crown was placed on my head and sadness has taken over me. I don't know why I'm sad but I am. Aren't I suppose to be happy that Letum and the other kingdom's are okay? And we have formed a complete alliance us 12? There's something missing, and I bet I know who.

As soon as I remembered that name, my head suddenly was in pain. Thankfully it was bearable and hear this voice again. "I'm sorry". I screamed because of the pain.

And then, the floor catched me.

I passed out again? Ugh! Should I start training or something? I woke up with my friends by my side. They all look different, ever since we absorbed the orb's power we change. Our height, hair, eyes and everything. Lighter to be honest. Unlike some boring dimmer star.

"You can train with me bud" Leo suggested and I just stare at him, to see whether he is serious as-"Or Taurus can just rest" Aries said also glaring at Leo. She mad at him or something?
