delilah, i know about you and clay.

delilah:
what?!

i looked up at him with probably the most shock i have ever had. how the hell did he know?

george:
you guys are horrible liars. i looked up "bowletta" and it wasn't a place.

delilah:

(nervously chuckles)
it is a real place...

he looks at me and raises an eyebrow.

george:
well how did you guys hear about it?

delilah:
well uh...
(sighs)
god dammit george, you can't tell nick.

george:
why can't you tell nick?

delilah:
he said even before the trip over here, that he doesn't want me and clay together.

george:
are you sure that he is still like that now?

delilah:
yes i am positive. every time me and clay even say something remotely close to flirting he gives me a death glare.

george:
do you know why he doesn't want you two together?

delilah:
he said it was because clay has done some things in the past or something?

george:
oh... yeah, well okay.

delilah:
what do you mean "okay"? do you know what he has done?

george:
that is not my story to tell... i just want you know that clay would never do it to you. i can tell he likes you a lot, delilah.

delilah:
what the hell did he do?

i can tell george senses the pure nervousness in my voice when i ask that because his eyes go softer and he puts his hand on my shoulder.

george:
it is nothing really bad, delilah. i don't know why nick is making it such a big deal.

delilah:
i will have to ask him about this "thing". well than if it isn't that big of a deal, why does he care so much?

george:
well have you ever thought about that once you and clay are together, he might think you guys will forget about him?

delilah:
no way he thinks that. i could never forget about him, he has been my best friend since i was born.

george:
i don't know if he thinks that, just something that would make sense.

delilah:
oh god, now i really can't tell him.

george:
i don't know, delilah. i think you should tell him sooner or later, better than getting caught like making out or something.

delilah:
george! shut up!
(laughs)

george:

george:
