Before Anatomy class ended, Hanbin told me to meet him up after school by the school's main exit so we could walk to his house to work on our project. Suhyun practically congratulated me when I told her I would be going to Hanbin's house to work on our duo assignment. She misunderstood, thought it was a date and then went on about something dealing with OTP, but I ignored that part.
"Guess who?" A voice teasingly quizzed as his chest was pressed against my back while both of his hands covered my face. His warm breath tickled my neck as I frowned pushing Bobby off since he was too close for comfort. "Did you guess right?" Bobby smiled along with his eyes as I rolled my own "As bad as I hate it, I could tell when you're around." He smiled even more as I added to crush his hopes "Because when I come in contact with you, I suddenly feel the urge to run away." His smile quickly vanished as I let out a laugh.
"What you even doing here?" Bobby asked positioning his arm around my neck to bring me closer to him. "I'm waiting for someone." Looking around he then assumed "Suhyun coming?"
"I'm working on a project with my lab partner and we don't even share that class. Besides it's not even a female lab partner. I got stuck with a guy." His body stiffen "Yah, why don't you ask for my help?" I laughed.
"As if. I'll be fine with just my lab partner. I bet he's smarter than you." He scooted me closer to him before asking who my partner "Relax. It's just Hanbin. Does that make it any better?" Suddenly his eyes went from expressing anger to now relief while his grip soften. Removing his arm and shoving one hand in his school's sweater pocket and another holding the strap of his bag, he then yelled goodbye before taking off.
He's just too weird to be the school's playboy.
"Hayi!" I heard Hanbin shout from across the school yard. I looked behind me to see him running and students staring at me. Once he caught up with me, Hanbin then apologized for making me wait. "It's fine Hanbin. I had company while I was waiting." He flashed me a smile before leading the way.
The walk to his house was silent. Hanbin was leading the way while his fingers wrapped around his backpack straps, he offered to help me with my bike I was walking with but I decline it. Finally we stopped at small apartment complex. He lift up an old and raggy door rug, pulling out his front door keys. "Aren't you worried that now I know your secret key location?" I asked raising an eyebrow. Unlocking the front door he then answered "N-Nope. I trust you enough." A small smile formed because of his stuttering.
The apartment was decorated with simple things but it felt welcoming. The doorway led to either the living room which was on my right along with the kitchen or the bedrooms that were located on my left. I took off my black shoes and placed them next to Hanbin's before slipping on a pair of indigo colored guest slippers. Cozy.
"When should I start leaving? In case any of your siblings or parents get busy." I asked. "Your fine. Umm my mom actually gets home around five really. So we'll be finished until then." He responded as he grabbed both mine and his belongings. "What about your dad?"
