Episode 21: Opening Promises

*Shoutmon wakes up from the scene, until Kirby heads out and sees him sob a bit*

Kirby: Shoutmon? Are you okay?
Shoutmon: No, I'm not...

Kirby: Hmm? What are you talking about?
Shoutmon: I've decided that I better leave the trip...right now

Kirby: Right now?! Why?
Shoutmon: Because...because...

Kirby: Because what?
Shoutmon: Because I just want to go home right now! And I really wanted to see Mikey again!!!
Kirby: Huh? Who's Mikey?
Shoutmon: He was my fusion fighter...and I am just willing to see him again...but I wouldn't...if I haven't found my way home yet...so I really want to go home. (Cries a bit and gets mad) IF THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR MY REVENGE!
Kirby: HUH?! But why Shoutmon?!
Shoutmon: You couldn't understand! I just want to go home! I'm tired of this place! (Drops his microphone on the ground and runs away)
Kirby: Shoutmon! Wait!
Shoutmon: LEAVE ME ALONE!!! (Runs deep into the middle of downtown)

Kirby: Shoutmon! Wait! (Runs up to find him, but somehow a giant fog appears) Oh no, it's a fog, I better put on my coat (Runs back to the dream wagon and grabs his cloak. He then opens his backpack and grabs his golden dollar and then walks into the deep foggy mist)

*Gumdramon notices that Kirby is missing*

Gumdramon: Kirby?! (Waking Tiff up) Tiff! Tiff! Wake up please!
Tiff: (Awake, tired) Ugh, what is it Gumdramon?
Gumdramon: Tiff, Kirby's missing!
Tiff: HUH?!

Gumdramon: Wait a minute, Shoutmon is gone too!
Tiff: HUH?! No kidding!

*A conversation breaks out*

Tiff: Tuff and Gus you both try to search for the forest, while me and Luz will try to find Kirby downtown

Gus: Okay, sounds like a good plan to me

Amity: Okay, let's go!

*The whole group heads out to find Kirby and Shoutmon*

Peter and Henry: Kirby!
Spongebob and Patrick: Shoutmon!
Pac-man: (Walking through the forest) Come on Kirby, if you don't come out I swear I'll never forgive you...

Cyli: (Seen sitting on the bridge) That figures...typical

Luz: Cyli! Anything?
Cyli: I'm not sure...let's go check the bridge to be sure...come on (Luz is seen sobbing a bit)
Luz: It's too much...until now, I think that he and Shoutmon might be gone...I can't. For now, I don't even had the slighest possibility, when or might they be gone. What I will do? What I do if the two don't come back?

Cyli: It's okay Luz

Luz: Really?
Cyli: Kirby is little pink toughie. I'm sure we'll be able to find him for sure, and also Shoutmon. Let's not worrying about them being missing, okay?
Luz: Okay...

*Kirby is then seen walking on the moutaintop, until he notices Shoutmon sitting on a log bench, sobbing a bit*

Kirby: Huh? (Sees Shoutmon) Shoutmon!

*At a café*

Kirby: (off-screen) Have you warmed up a bit? (Shoutmon didn't respond) I found you Shoutmon, I can't actually believe you were sitting there all alone. I was so worried about you. (Shoutmon still didn't respond, as he was still sad and may about Kirby) Listen Shoutmon, there's something I like to show you (Pulls out something from his backpack, and shows Shoutmon his golden dollar)

Shoutmon: Huh? A golden dollar?
Kirby: I understand that you are a rare collector of these rare items

Shoutmon

Shoutmon: But, why did yo have this all along?
Kirby: When I was little, I was a rare collector of items as well

Shoutmon: What? You were a collector is that really true?
Kirby: Of course, I am. I know that I was a star warrior, but I'm also a treasure collector. I need to collect these, as a secret of a result. Then one day, when I arrived in Dreamland, I began to search for the rare minerals, as I first arrived here. But however, I never got a chance to do it

Shoutmon: (Cries a bit) You know about the minerals?
Kirby: Well, yeah just don't cry please...it's nothing to be worried about

Shoutmon: Oh wow...

Kirby: It went great, I recall that night as if, it was the first day

Shoutmon: huh?

[Has a flashback, to where Tiff mentions about Kirby's battle against the octopus]

Tiff: And then one day he saw something big happening, so he use a fire ability to defeat the giant octopus monster back then...

[End of flashback]

Shoutmon: So...that was the reason why you were able to defeat a giant octopus monster back then

Kirby: You already know about that?

Shoutmon: I did, I heard it from Tiff. She also told me how you weren't actually a strong warrior...like I was. Buf for now, going on this trip was a big mistake

Kirby: Why?
Shoutmon: Because, I just...want...to leave...this trip right now...(Cries a bit)
Kirby: Shoutmon...

Shoutmon: Huh?
Kirby: Do you want to know, why I didn't give up on this trip?
Shoutmon: Uh...wasn't it so that you can find the eight words of Certarus?
Kirby: Certainly, that was part of it.

Shoutmon: What do you mean?
Kirby: Not only I want to this trip to find the eight words of Certarus. The real reason I want to this journey to be great, was because I want to have an amazing experience by traveling with my friends, because I knew that one day I could explore all over the Earth, than I'll ever be. So then, how come you want to leave the trip...

Shoutmon: Well...perhaps the real reason, why I wanted to leave the road trip. It's because, I want to get away from you...

Kirby: Why?
Shoutmon: Because I knew that, you were closer to Gumdramon, than me...

Kirby: Shoutmon...

Shoutmon: (Cries a bit) Tell me...(Whimpering) Am I a bad king...if so, then let me become a bad memory...(Wipes his tears)

Kirby: No...you're not

Shoutmon: Huh?
Kirby: I still cared about you...even though you are so abusive to me than to anyone else, you would still have the opportunity to become more like me. It's all because I'm still like you...

Shoutmon: Kirby...

Kirby: (gives Shoutmon the golden dollar) Here...I want to give this to you

Shoutmon: Huh? I want that...but

Kirby: Shoutmon

Shoutmon: Huh?
Kirby: That's what makes you special Shoutmon. That power felt in you, you're a lot special to me. No one else can rival.

*Shoutmon takes the golden dollar and hugs Kirby so hard*

Shoutmon: Thank you!
Kirby: Hey, what's with the rush?
Shoutmon: You may my dream...come true...Now, I have all the rare items

Kirby: Oh, Shoutmon (Comforts him)

*Suddenly, a door slams open, and Luz is seen breathing*

Kirby: Huh? (Notices Luz) Luz

Luz: Hmm? (Runs up to Kirby and embraces him) I'm so glad you're here!

Kirby: Hey! It's okay!
Luz: You're not actually leaving right?
Kirby: Huh?
Luz: Are you gonna pack up and quit the trip?!
Kirby: Luz. (Excites) No! I still got eight words to find! And I'm sure that I'll be able to find them as soon as possible!

Tiff: There you are Kirby!
Peter: Yay! We found Kirby!

*The group hugs Kirby and Shoutmon*
