Chapter 1: "Studying"

Antfrost pov:

I find myself standing along a path surrounded by flowers, the sky was mixed with thousands of stars. the land was slightly lightened up by the moon, making the land around me visible. I take a moment to look around and take it all in. this place was beautiful. I walk along the path wondering where I was, oddly enough I start to smell pastries. As I continue walking I see a familiar red head siting at the end of the path. what's red doing here? I slowly walk up to him, not wanting to scare him. He is doing something, but what?

"Hey red, what'ya doing?" at this point I'm not sure if he can hear me. "red? helloooo?"

"oh heh, sorry!" he paused then smiled at me, with that beautiful smile that just melts my heart. wait..

"I'm making flower crowns, want one?"

His voice somehow snapped me out of my train of thought "yeah I'd like that" I say smiling back at him. for some odd reason I feel safe when I'm with him, or like time just stops. I watch him turn around, with the flower crown in his hand.

"here ya go!" he says as placing the flower crown on my head. "thanks red" but one thought stays in my head. why? what is he doing here? "hey, um red?"

"yeah?"

"what are you doing here?"

"oh! well you see I was gonna start gaze but, heh, I got distracted by the flowers"

Seems like a thing he'd do

"wanna watch the stars with me?"

oh- it will be only me and him alone, us together, alone. what if I say something weird?

"I- um s-sure" OH MY GOD WHAT WAS THAT!? UGHHH STUPID. STUPID. WHY DID I STUTTER!? NOOOO. WHYYY ME??? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

"here come" he pats down a spot beside him "here we can lay down and watch the stars together" I started to feel my face heat up when I laid beside him. The stars above were beautiful, now all I could think about was how the stars reflect beautifully in reds emerald eyes. they looked amazing, its like I could get lost in them. before i can think anymore i hear an alarm go off in the area, my vision started to blur and I couldn't see anything. The more the alarm rang louder in my ears the more I felt numb.

I slowly felt myself gain consciousness, as I smelt the same familiar sent as the one in the dream. Pastries. wait pastries? oh god. I feel asleep at red's house last night when we were studying! where was I sleeping? I only seem to find the same red and gray colored room with the sent of pastries. But the bed was a pinkish red sheets with soft comfy crimson pillows, and of course with the white with a tint of gray fluffy blanket. This room belongs to red.

THIS ROOM BELONGS TO RED.

oh my goodness no. where is he? The first time I scanned the room I didn't see him, though I did see something else. I saw my backpack with a note stuck to it. Before I'm going anywhere near the note I'm going to make red's bed, y'know I kind of felt like I have to after sleeping in his bed. where did he run off to? I guess the note should explain where he went right?

Hey ant! I put your clothes you left here in your bag so you can change for school today, if you need me I'm baking downstairs :)

how thoughtful, wait we have school today god damn it. I let out a sigh still feeling tired might I add. my eyes drat to the clock to the wall. oh, it's 7:43. ugh. today is going to be a long day. I finish changing into the clothes that were provided for me, as I finish I start to wonder down stairs to check up on red. The sent of pastries started to smell more like muffins the more i reached the kitchen. Then I see red facing away from me preparing the muffins.

"good morning red"

"PSTFVYBHNJM-ACK" did I just-

"pffftt"

"good morning to you too" he says slightly embarrassed, but still facing away from me

"d-did I just scare you by saying good morning?" at this point I'm trying not to laugh at him but failing to contain my laughter.

"HEY- you did NOT scare me because you said good morning." he says still facing the other direction. "you only scared me because I didn't know you were there!" he says while huffing in my direction, but with a tray of muffins.

"here, breakfast muffins" he says passing me one.

"Oh thanks red!"

"no problem," he says smiling at me sweetly, "oh and get ready to leave because I'm going to drive you to school, and i have to pick up punz and ponk today" punz and ponk?

"what did they do this time?"

"well punz said they went to a party last night and need a lift"

"oh, seems like them."

He grabs his backpack and along with his car keys then gestured for me to follow, but couldn't say anything because there was a full muffin hanging from him mouth. I did the same and grabbed my backpack I brought from upstairs. We both get in the car and hit the road, adventuring out to find punz and ponk. It didn't take that long to get where the others where, We stop to let them in but as we do so I hear the to of them fighting over shot gun. little did they know I was occupying the front passenger seat. I decide to roll down the window just to meme them.

"um hey guys I'm in here" I say grinning

"I WANT- wait why is ant here?" punz now has stopped yelling to complain

"nothing. I just beat you to shot gun"

"why you-"

"I'm just gonna get in" ponk says cutting off punz "wait why is ant here?" he adds

"oh he slept over at my place after studying last night." red just answered causally.

At first I thought nothing of what red said, I mean that is what happened. But however punz didn't take it that way, I could tell because the grin growing on his face and a grin fading on mine. He enters the car and sits down. I thought he wasn't going to say anything but he put his hand on my shoulder then whispered to me,

"hm I bet you two had fun studying alone huh?"

I immediately felt the heat rise to my face as I heard giggles from the back seat from behind me. Why would he think that!?

"IT'S NOT LIKE THAT." I whisper shout.

"well you did have fun didn't you?

"yeah I had fun I guess"

"SEE YOU NEVER HAVE FUN STUDYING AHAHAA GOT YOU!" he practically yelled that for the whole world to hear. screw it.

"NOT LIKE THAT YOU MORON"

"WHY ARE WE YELLING!?" ponk shouts back at us, now I realize we just randomly stared to yell from their point of view.

"AAAAAA WE ARE GOING TO BE LATE!!!" red shouts at us too

"BAD'S GONNA KILL US" I shout back at them

The whole car ride to school was us shouting at red to drive faster and him screaming back at them, although he was just yelling what sounded like gibberish. like I said today is going to be a long day.
