Task 7: Band

"Now that you guys are up and at it, I need help with anything for the school festival."

"Y/n don't go offering help when you aren't even helping with your own classes festival." It was lunchtime and the school festival was less than two days away.

"These guys are my friends and I'd like to help them with anything you meanie." She stuck her tongue out to Shinsou as they were eating lunch with the rest of 1-A.

"Actually, can you help us? We're making this big concert for our class and I'm kinda stuck on the song idea." Jirou asked the girl who was currently stuffing her face with (f/f). "I know you're a great singer y/n, so I'd like to try a few things with you." She nodded her head aggressively still having her mouth full.

"Don't shake your head with your mouth full you idiot. You're gonna choke." Bakugou came up from behind her and karate chopped her head.

"Perfect I'll see you after class."

After School

It was after school and Class 1-A was setting up blueprints for their big concert. Mina was teaching them how to dance and Todoroki was doing the decorations. Y/n helped Jirou explain the different instruments the best that she could, Y/n read some books on instruments in class to help Jirou the best she could.

"Alright band lets start up with a warm up song. Any request?" Y/n asked the rest of the class that was doing their own work.

"Treasure by Bruno Mars!" Mina shouted.

"Verbatim by Mother Mother" Tokoyami said.

"OH wait I have the perfect warm up song." Y/n walked up to Momo and whispered in her ear. Momo nodded and handed Y/n sheet music that Momo made. It was kinda hard for the band to read sheet music still, but they still agreed. Y/n then sat down in the seat in front of the group.

"You're not joining us?"

"Oh I possibly couldn't. Your class is performing, not mine."

"Oh come on it's just a warm up song."Jirou grabbed y/n by the arm and brought her by the second mic stand. Y/n adjusted to height and then nodded for the rest of the group to start.

Jirou and Y/n sang together, making sure to give each other the spotlight and harmonizing during the chorus. By the time the song ended all of the class was in front of the band, mesmerized by the performance they just saw. In the short distance she saw Sero recording the whole thing on his phone which made y/n madly flustered.

"Alright guys it's time for you to go back to work." She shewed the class away and came to the table to help finish up the rest of the lines for the song and teach the band how to play the notes. With the final play through of the song ended the night came to an end.

"We have the stage tomorrow so you can help us practice then." 

"Actually I have something really important to do tomorrow, so I need to do a reign check on that performance."

"Oh okay then I'll see you at the festival!" The class was out on the front porch to watch y/n safely go off to the main building. When she was out of sight from the rest of the class she took her phone out of her pocket.

"Hello Dr. Furjihara, it's me y/n. I have an issue with my quirk that I need to address with you."
