Chapter 5 - In The Woods Somewhere

Time skips because I have put you all through hell and I will simply do flashbacks <3. Having said that, there will be sad angst BUT HAPPINESS IS COMING I PROMISE

"Please tell me she's okay!" Rossi yelled at the doctor who wouldn't give anyone an update. It had been five hours and Aaron was already out of surgery but he was sleeping. The entire way there he was more worried about you and he heard the other dispatchers speak of how you had absolutely no pulse.

The doctor sighed and finally set the board down when the nurse walked over to him and whispered in his ear. "She's okay, and stable." Everyone sighed with relief and Rossi sat down as if he was about to go into a heart attack. Emily hugged him, still dizzy from the trauma and cuts which they cleaned out. Rose went into surgery and was fine but she was told she may start itching to relapse, which she promised herself she wouldn't do.

Over the course of the eight weeks of recovery, Aaron seemed to want nothing to do with you. You visited him one day and he got fed up with you trying to speak and ask him why he won't talk to you.

"Aar please! Why are you ignore me, what on earth did I do wrong?!" You raised your voice at him on the verge of tears.

"Ask Gavin," he muttered and you looked at him confused.

"What does Gavin have to do with any of this he's not m-"

"Get out."

"Wh-what...?" He looked at you with no emotion like he looks at Haley, which broke your heart.

"Nurse!" Aaron yelled and winced a little due to his injury, "I don't want her in here anymore please." The girl nodded and forced you to stand and guided you out the room but you shoved her off and walked back into the room.

"You don't get to kick me out!" You yelled but you felt one of the bigger male nurses pick you up and you thrashed around, "Aaron! What the hell! Put me down!" They dragged you back to your room as you screamed for Aaron but he ignored you.

You ended up breaking down in Emily's arms that day and Sean came in pissed at Aaron for hurting you like that. No one understood why he hated you but you wondered if the bullet wound did damage to his brain and he saw you differently. The doctors did a head scan but saw nothing, but he still hated you. 

Gavin was put in jail for six months, but you still visited him the most you could. Colin was thrown in prison for a life sentence. Aria was put back in the orphanage and Emily and Rose were currently busy with their new son, David. You had yet to see Aaron again that week and he never asked for you, no one knew why he was angry still. Kelly and Sylvia were thrown in prison, the rest of the maids left to have their own life. You looked around your apartment as you remember the conversation with Gavin just last week.

"I don't get it..." You sobbed to Gavin, picking at your fingers.

"Maybe he just has a bad mindset, maybe he thought he saw or heard something while he was shot," Gavin went to hold your hand but the officer cleared his throat at you two.

"It scares me. One minute he's fighting to save my life the next he's banishing me from seeing him. Anyway, he gets discharged today. Sean's staying with him, I'm stuck at my apartment again until we figure this out. Did we break up...?" 

"It honestly sounds like it..." Gavin looked at you with those sad apologetic eyes he always gave you and you held back tears as you left, "Y/N..." he sighed as you shut the door and found yourself screaming your lungs out in the car, which killed you due to the recovery from a punctured lung, until you broke down.
