When Elle and Morgan arrived with Jack you and Aaron were in your room chatting about random things. Since you took care of dishes and the evidence, the two caretakers were oblivious you two had dinner. Jack went to his room almost immediately and the two went upstairs.

"Can we talk to you two?" Elle asked and sat on the chair in the corner of the room. Morgan stood by your bed and you two looked at them. "We think Jack should go to school." Elle spoke up.

"I agree," you and Aaron spoke at the same time.

"Now I know you disagree but we think- wait what?" Morgan stopped mid-sentence of the whole spewl he clearly planned out in case you two argued.

"We agree, he needs education and his friends. Jack's social life is completely dead and at his age it shouldn't be." You explained while Aaron wrapped his arm around your shoulder as he silently agreed. Morgan and Elle shared a suspicious look before looking at you two. "We're being serious."

"We know," You barely smiled when Elle spoke. Aaron wrapped his arms around your waist this time, laying his head in your lap. As you played with his hair, Elle and Morgan shared a conversation before looking at you two again. "Okay, we'll pick him up Monday to start school."

"Great. Anything else you want to interrogate us with?" Aaron looked at them annoyed, causing them to shake their heads and leave the room. Their footsteps were heard down the steps before the front door opened, then closed shortly after. You and Aaron laid there for who knew how long, your hand still in his hair. After a while, you both passed out in that position and snored softly as the evening rolled around.

You were the first to wake up, smacking your mouth to change the dry texture. Looking around the room that was only lit by the hallway light, your eyes hit your fiance and you grimaced. "Honey..you have-" you scoffed and grabbed the end of his shirt, wiping the drool off of Aaron's face which woke him up. "You're like my big baby." You shook your head and rubbed his shoulder with a small smile.

"Mom? Dad?" Jack stood at your door, his body a silhouette.

"Whats up?" Aaron sat up and wiped the rest of his chin off.

"I was wondering if we could maybe.." his voice trailed off, as if he was backing down from his question. You and Aaron encouraged him to continue and that nothing was wrong. "Play a board game?"

"Well what kinda of board game?" You extended your legs and stretched out like a cat, accidentally poking Nala with your foot. "Sorry princess," you reached down and scratched her ears.

"Twister?" Jack's voice sounded more clear and you could almost hear the happiness in his voice that you two were ready to socialize. You and Aaron looked at one another with a smile before nodding to Jack and getting out of bed. Jack giggled all the way down the stairs before grabbing the game from the board game rack.

Derek's POV:

"We should check on them now." I looked at Elle from the drivers seat, the car parked in front of their house as if that was totally not creepy.

"It's been three hours, Der." Elle cocked a brow at me and I took a moment to think before shrugging and getting out of the car. I heard the girl stutter before getting out quickly to follow my lead into the house; as we got up the steps, I grabbed the keys and fiddled with them to find the right one. As I held the right one, Elle put her hand on my chest to stop me from entering the house.

"Listen," she whispered and pressed her ear to the door before I followed suit.

"Aar I said left foot green!" Y/N laughed out.
