Disclaimer: Aaron would never mean this, it's in the moment. Angst..im sorry..

"What do you mean?"

"I mean you aren't going back, Y/N." His voice was cold and his whole demeanor changed.

"I thought you'd be at least a little happy for me, Aar.." You felt offended to be honest. There was no reason to react as if you just told him you'd going to commit mass murder. Well, I guess he'd be too calm for that situation though.

"You're not ready, you're not coming back." He was soon talking to you like you were just a team member, which killed you inside. You knew your own body and you knew you were ready to come back, you weren't staying away from your dream any longer.

"You don't get to make that decision, Aaron. I'm coming back Monday and-"

"You're not going back! That's final, Y/N."

"Don't you ever raise your voice at me for something ridiculous! Why can't you be happy?! I know I'm ready, do not talk to me like I'm Jennifer! I am your fiance you don't speak to me like I'm just a team member!" You snapped just as he did, you had no clue why he was acting this way but you didn't like it one bit.

Something inside of him turned off, his eyes grew emotionless and his stance changed completely.

"You can't even speak for yourself, you almost got yourself killed the other day." His anger was rising, but unfortunately so was yours.

"I was doing my job," your jaw clenched as you grew more angry, your blood boiling as it piled up.

"Your job is to stay home and stay safe!"

"I'm coming back, and that is final," your words cold and stated without any room for his own opinion, he didn't know what to do. He either kept going until he convinced you, or he tried and you leave. "You don't get to tell me what to do, you don't get to order me around, you don't get to make my decisions in this."

"What are you going to do, huh? Go on a case and trigger things and end up in a blood bath on the floor in the bathroom again?! You can't make decisions without talking to me first!" The sentence was your last straw, deep down you knew neither of you meant anything but with all the stress coming down you both had no choice but to shut down.

"Maybe we aren't meant to be then. I clearly don't fit your needs and you clearly don't fit mine. I can speak for myself," you walked past him and took off his shirt, putting your own on as Aaron processed where the hell you pulled that out of. He knitted his eyebrows together into one as his brain wrapped around your actions. You clothed yourself in your own cloths, packed a few things and for a while he thought maybe you needed a break and you'd be back.

But the second you took off the necklace and ring his heart and entire soul dropped down six-feet under. You didn't bother to meet his gaze, you didn't want to; if you did you'd start crying and fall into his arms in a blubber of apologies and explain why you were so offended by what he said but currently you were too stubborn for that. "Y/N-" he started as you brushed past him.

"Don't. You've said enough, I'll just have my blood bath somewhere else." You said in a snarl, using his words against him as he put together the pieces and realized his words. He grabbed your wrist as his breathing picked up but you still refused to look, "let go, Hotchner."

The breakdown inside of him forced you to let go as you addressed him like every other person. You walked out and looked at Aria and Jack, you said nothing as you left with your bags, keys and phone. Aria knew exactly what it meant, but Jack was still confused on it. Aaron convinced himself you'd be back and he didn't need to worry but something told him this was forever..

You killed the engine of the car and sat in Rossi's driveway, noticing Rose's car too. You were about to leave but Rossi opened the door and saw you had mascara and eyeliner prints stained on your face. He jerked his head to the inside and waited at the door for you to get out and inside. When you did you kept your head low and slowly regretted you decision as you calmed down.

You got inside and saw Rose sitting on the couch drinking wine, her escape from her family for alone time. She looked at you and did a double-take before setting down her glass and running to you, "why are you crying. Where's the shovel. Dad, grab your things we're killing him," she immediately somehow knew it was Aaron who caused these tears, to be honest it was your fault in a way.

"Rosalie sit. Y/N tell me what happened," Rossi guided you to the living room and you explained everything. BY the time you finished you were more shocked at what you did, you wanted to go back and take it all back, be good with Aaron again. You felt your phone buzz underneath you, hiking yourself up so you could grab it you felt it buzz once again. Your anxiety rose as you read the notification, 'Bubba ❤' and you prayed it was him wanting to make amends.

It was not.

9: I see your pretty serious about this thing. I'll respect that, I love you. You'll have custody of Aria when you move back into you apartment, you can see Jack on weekends. You'll have custody of Nala and we'll keep it professional at work, not use crying over spilled milk and making the team uncomfortable.

So this is it. We're done, call off the plans for wedding. I'll keep the rings unless you truly want yours for some reason. You have my work number, goodbye.

You can no longer send messages to this contact, please dial 278-267-1470 for more information.

You realized he cut off contacts, not noticing you were reading out loud. You went to Instagram and looked at his page, the pictures of you two were gone. His profile picture was the default one instead of you two and Jack on vacation; he was really ready to be done with you. You felt tears form again as you chucked your phone across the room, Rose's jumping as it shattered from the wall to the floor.

Rose quickly fell to her knees to catch you as you did the same. You cried into her shoulder in absolute pain at the mess you made, knowing there's no going back. You screwed things up with your soulmate and now you'll only see him when he's telling you how to catch a serial killer.

Aaron's POV:

I watched her walk out, a moment of silence before the front door shut. Aria softly called Y/N's name but I don't know if she ran after her. Jack started asking questions but none of them were answered. I stood there, shock coming over me at what had just happened.

I knew whenever she was serious, and right now, she was dead serious. She wanted to be over, done with what we had. Because of me. I sat on the bed numb and took my phone, archiving all the photos we had on Instagram and removing my profile picture; I had no idea what to do, so I sent her two messages before my freaked out and blocked her from my phone.

After a while I found myself on the floor crying, soon calling Sean and as if he was the flash she was there. I told him what happened and he nodded in understanding, seeming to have his own opinion on this event. I dared myself to look at my phone on her Instagram even though I unfollowed her.

Bad idea.

I know I did it first, but she followed exactly what I did to my page. Only I hope she didn't just delete the pictures. I wouldn't blame her. My blood boiled again as I threw my phone to the wall multiple feet in front of me, watching it break in cracks. I punched the wall before my body decided it was relaxing, so I continued until Sean yelled at me.

Sean quickly fell to his knees to catch me as I did the same. I cried into his shoulder in absolute pain at the mess I made, knowing there's no going back. I screwed things up with my soulmate and now I'll only see her when she's telling the team how to catch a serial killer.
