"Do you think he'll be the one to win?" Haruhi asked as we all watched Mori get rewarded twenty refresher points for chopping wood shirtless in front of some guests.

"However, since he follows Honey where ever he goes, he won't stay even if he wins the competition," I pointed out, glancing at the twins a bit ways away. "Meaning unless Tamaki somehow blows Misuzu out of the water, then the Twins surely will win the competition."

Haruhi and the Twins chatted about the bedding situation and then how the two didn't have many friends growing up since they thought they only needed each other.

"We never really bothered to make friends with anyone until a few years ago. We thought the world was made up of idiots."

"Really?"

"But then...well, that was before we met you two," Kaoru said, turned towards us. "We'd let you sleep with us, Haruhi."

Right as he said that, I felt the tension immediately appeared, and I placed my hand over Kyoya's as a sign to calm down.

"No thanks, I'm good." Haruhi and I said simultaneously

"The contest isn't over just yet," Kyoya added. "There are still multiple ways to make this contest interesting."

"Indeed, however, as long as nothing gets broken and no one severely injured, then continue."

I got up and kissed Kyoya's cheek before leaving the four to whatever to complete some work around the Inn and to check to see if the paint dried. Only to see Tamaki's handiwork on the messed up fence, internally screaming as Tamaki acted as if it was an excellent job well done, and Misuzu deducted three refreshing points from Tamaki. Remembering again that Tamaki never had an actual job before and cutting him a little slack, only a fraction.

Shooing Tamaki to sulk elsewhere and plugging my music back in, I immediately got to work, fixing the poor job that Tamaki accomplished. Starting by removing the bent nails and trying to salvage the pieces used, then moving onto redoing the part of the fence before painting it white to match the rest of the picket fence around the yard. Throughout this process, I would notice a mixture of girls and guys staring at me weirdly out of the corner of my eye. I would often turn my attention toward them, making them think I heard their comments, and simply watched as they would get flustered or swoon. Once I finished fixing Tamaki's hard work and putting the tools back, I picked up the hose and turned it on before pointing it towards the sky. It resulted in feeling refreshing cold water against my sweaty forehead and cascade down my neck, causing my t-shirt collar to darken a bit. While enjoying the semi-cold water, I overheard swoons and jumbles of words off in the distance.

"Forty refreshing points to Re-oh; wait, you're not participating in the competition," Misuzu said as I stared at her with a blank look once I turned off the hose and placed it back on the hook. "Then again, you usually bring in the most customers, usually for the past couple of summers."

Simply shrugging and gently taking the dry towel from Misuzu's grasp, I walked off, drying my hair, and went back inside to change my shirt before the dinner rush happened. Humming a song softly while passing several guests on the way to Haruhi's and my shared hotel room, I noticed some familiar faces from earlier outside and gave a gentle wave before walking by and continuing on my life then did the same thing after I changed my shirt and headed towards the kitchen to start preparing dinner.

Once I noticed a couple of people were already seated and looking at the drink menu, I quickly tied up my hair and washed my hands before taking people's orders and making drinks, gracefully sliding past Mori as he worked behind the bar. About halfway through, I heard the grand piano begin to play and noticed that Tamaki was playing, catching attention. Kyoya must have given him a bit of help, considering he was sulking for a while a couple of hours ago. As long as he keeps this up, he may have a slight chance of winning, considering you catch more flies with honey than vinegar. Gradually, more and more people came to sit and enjoy a drink while listening to Tamaki play. I worked to the song's silent beat and imagined choreography that would work well with the music while serving people their drinks. Misuzu came back, seeing all these customers in the dining area, and noticed Tamaki gracefully playing an elegant piece on the piano. She glanced towards me as we had a silent conversation about what was going on until I went back to work, waiting tables, and enjoying the surprisingly peaceful atmosphere.

After a while, the customers paid for their drinks before leaving, including leaving a tip for me, it seems. I could probably convince Misuzu to give me somewhat of a paycheck at the end of the summer, and I could split it with Haruhi, considering she'll probably be here more than me during the summer. Another conversation for later, I started washing dishes and overheard Misuzu shouting about a hundred points and brotherly love before it finally popped in my head that the Twins won. Glancing outside the kitchen door, Tamaki abruptly died internally as he stood up and pressed down on several piano keys. Guess the Twins won in the end as expected, and I began cooking up dinner for all of us to enjoy as the Twins followed Misuzu to the spare room.

I know this chapter was a little bland, but I was busy this week. Anyway, if anything you want to see in the story or ask questions about it, put it in the comments. I hope you all had a lovely holiday!
