Valt x Aiger (Vaiger :D )

Chapter 6-- The Confession

Valt looked at his watch and noticed what time it was. He sighed and looked down. It was 9:12 and Aiger was asleep. He didn't know how to confess, and he didn't want to make a fool of himself in front of his "true love".

He walked in the Living room and sat on the couch. Looking down at the ground, Valt started overthinking things. "Hey, everything okay, sweetie?" Chiharu asked as she sat beside him. He looked up at his mother. "Mom? Well...on Christmas day....I was thinking of confessing to Aiger...". Chiharu smiled and started patting Valt on his head. "That's wonderful! But still....something seems to be bothering you." Chiharu said looking at her son. Valt stared at the TV trying not to make his words sound embaressing.

"The thing is...I've never confessed before! What if I mess up? He might never love me again..." Valt said. Chiharu sighed and hugged Valt. "Valt, listen to me- If Aiger never loved you, don't you think he would've asked me to drive them home." Huh? Valt thought looking outside. There was no snow storm. When did it end? Chiharu laughed and Valt looked up at her. "The snow storm ended 3 days ago.".

Valt thought for a moment. Why didn't Aiger or Naru ask to leave? For a second, Valt wondered if him and Aiger were a thing, but it would've ruined the whole "confession" he planned for a while. Valt smiled and hugged Chiharu back. He then walked outside and set up something special before going to bed.

--In The Morning--

Valt woke up and looked beside him. Aiger wasn't there. Huh? Where is he..?- Before he finished thinking, he was spooked my a certain voice that yelled 'RAH!'. Valt freaked out and fell out of bed. He looked up and saw Aiger standing in front of him. Valt stared blushing staring into his eyes. Why am I blushing at a time like this? Valt shook his head forcing his blush to retreat. "Aiger, you almost scared the life outta me!" Valt yelled. Aiger laughed at him. "Well, luckily it was 'almost-! Come on, get it, IT'S CHTISTMAS!!" Aiger yelled in Valt's ear. He laughed, but it quickly changed to a straight face while Aiger left the room. He was worried about his confession. Valt stood up, and walked downstairs and out the door. Everybody opened their presents, except Aiger, who opened his last present

It was a note. He opened ut and it read 'Meet me outside in the backyard~♡'(You KNOW something bad is about to happen when there's a squiggly line in a WATTPAD XD). Aiger blushed and took a deep breath. He got up and said "Be right back.." as he walked out the door. Aiger walked around the corner to see a path of odd red flowers (not roses)lined up. He followed them and it lead to a picnic area. This HAS to be Valt's doing.....but WHY did he do this? Aiger thought as he stood in front of the area.

"Surprise!~" Valt said placing his both of his hands on Aiger's shoulder. Aiger flinched and look at Valt as he walked in front of him and laughed. "Valt! Don't scare me like that!" Aiger yelled and playfully punched him on the arm. Valt laughed more and sat down on the picnic area. He patted the spot next to him. Aiger jumped a little, nodded slowly and sat beside him.

"H-hey.....Aiger?" "Hm?" Aiger said looking at Valt. He wanted to kiss him, but now wasn't the time. Valt reached for and grabbed Aiger's hand. He put Aiger's hand on his chest. "H-huh!? Valt?" Aiger asked blushing. Valt took a deep breath, even tho it made Aiger blush more.

"Aiger......even though we first met was started out as friends. But, the more and more stronger you got, the more you- well....started to grow on me..." Valt said. Aiger nodded slowly as he continued. "When you beat me and won the championship when you WEREN'T corrupt, I was amazed how strong you've grown. Ever since, I've watched every single battle on TV." Valt continued, wrapping one of his arms around Aiger.

"Valt....I never knew you felt this way...." Aiger said tearing up a bit (from happiness). Valt chuckled. "Well, I do. Anyways, back to what I was saying, Everytime we met for the past months, I've been having this, weird feeling for you.." Aiger tilted his head in confusion (He was pretending he was confused, IQ over 9,000). So he wouldn't mess up, Valt went straight to the point. "What I'm trying to say is...well...." Valt looked away nervously, blushing alot. He hugged Aiger with his face buried in his name. "Aiger Akabane....I love you.....I love you so much.." Valt said as a huge weight fell off his chest.
