Chapter 7-- What Happened?

It was 6:12 in the morning. Valt woke up and yawned. Why do I keep on waking up early..? Valt thought. He looked beside him to see Aiger gone, but the bed neatly done. Huh, he must've gone to train, but why this early? Valt wondered.

He got up and put on his coat. Valt walked outside and heard Aiger in the shed training. He sighed and shook his head while walking into the shed. "Aiger?-" Valt thought, but stopped when he felt this tense energy around him. He started to feel scared for some reason. "Aiger..?" Valt repeated taking steps closer. But, the more closer he got, the more the energy became tense. When Valt finally touched him on the shoulder, all of the mysterious energy vanished.

Aiger looked up. "Yeah?" he asked while turning around. Valt exhaled of relief. "Why are you up so early?" He asked. Aiger shrugged and turned back around to train. Once he ripped Achilles, the tense energy came back.

What is this energy, why am I scared of it? Valt wondered still staring at Aiger. He thought Aiger would look at him and ask 'Why are you staring at me?', but he didn't. Valt started to worry. "Hey, A-aiger?". No response. He tapped Aiger's shoulder again. "What?" Aiger asked not sounding to happy. Valt gulped a little, feeling more scared. "W-well....I was wondering...if you were, feeling okay?" Valt asked looking at the ground. Once he looked up at Aiger, he got chills staring into his once glistening turquoise eyes. They felt like a cold, damp blue instead.

Aiger growled a little. "I'm fine!" He answered sounding mad. He picked up Achilles and walked out. What was that about? What happened to Aiger? Valt thought. He looked at the stadium. Once he did, he was in shock.

There were dents, scratches, and marks inside and outside the stadium. Did Aiger do this? He couldn't have. Aiger loves beyblade, why would be try and destroy the stadium..? Valt went to find out. He wandered into the woods to search for him. After a while of searching, He found him sitting in a tree. The energy was gone? "Hey, Aiger?" Valt said nervously. "Yeah!?" Auger yelled down at him sounding normal. Why is he normal now? Don't tell me...

"Are you okay?" Valt asked worried, thinking his response would change. Aiger hopped down from the tree (He landed it by the way). "Are you that worried about me? You remind me of my parents!" Aiger laughed. Valt hugged him. "Huh?" Aiger said. Please...don't corrupt on me again..Valt thought hugging Aiger tighter. "Hey, Valt? May I please breathe..?" Aiger asked chuckling. Valt stopped hugging him and kissed him.

Aiger kissed him back. "Why did you do that?" Aiger asked raising an eyebrow. If Valt told him, he was afraid he would go back to being corrupt. "Well, because....your cute!" Valt said, saying the first thing that came to his mind. Aiger blushed but shook it off. "Why now do you decide to call me 'Cute'?" Aiger asked becoming suspicious. Valt sighed. I guess I'm forced to tell him the truth...

"W-well...when you were training, I felt this- weird and uneasy aura around you...you didn't sound normal either". Valt was feeling scared again. Was he corrupted? Aiger placed his hand on Valt's shoulder. It felt cold. "Why did you think that?" He asked, not sounding happy again. Valt had a chill. He forgot how intimidating Aiger was. "I-I......don't know..." Valt said looking down. Aiger huffed and walked away with his left hand in his pocket, leaving Valt staring at the ground. He started to tear up, then mumbled, "Aiger.....what's gotten into you...?"

Valt walked into the house with his head down. When he looked up, Nika, Toko, Dante, and Delta were waiting in front of him. "Well?" Nika asked. Valt tilted his head a little. "Where's Aiger?" Naru asked sadly. Valt ignored them. He walked around them and went into his room. He'll come back....I know it! He has to! Right?
