Anniversary (BokuAka) A New Year Special

November 26th 2020

"Happy Thanksgiving" Bokuto said as he opened the door to let his mother into his and Akaashi's apartment. This was the first time Akaashi and Bokuto held a holiday at their apartment since they moved in after Christmas last year.

"Oh Kotaro baby how are you?" Bokuto's mother said as she gave him a hug. "Good Mom how about you?" Bokuto asked as he hugged her back. "Well busy with work here and there but I have been good." his mother replied. As they ended their hug his mother moved to say hello to Akaashi and Bokuto closed the door. " Keiji how have you been doing? Has Kotaro been behaving?" she asked as she extended her arms to hug Akaashi. "I am doing good Mrs. Bokuto and Bokuto has been good barely giving me any trouble." Akaashi replied going in to hug Bokuto's mom. "Keiji how many times must I tell you to call me mom." she replied as she was hugging Akaashi. "Sorry Mrs. Bokuto I mean mom." akaashi said. Bokuto walked over to his mom and asked " Mom are you going to be alright today? I know I am trying to stay calm but I still can't believe he's gone." Bokuto's father passed away in March due to cancer, and this will be the first Thanksgiving and Christmas they have with out him. "Well Kotaro to tell you the truth I don't know I miss him so much but I know he is in a better place now no longer suffering." she replied.

Akaashi watched and tried to comfort them but he didn't really know how. His father left him once he told him he was dating Bokuto. Akaashi's mother how ever was supportive of Akaashi in his choice to date Bokuto but shortly after she passed away from a car accident but his father how ever came out of the accident alive. The accident was 5 years ago this past August. As time went on they all watch a movie and prepared to eat the turkey Akaashi had cooked. After they finished eating "Akaashi" Bokuto called out to him. "Yes Bokuto-san" Akaashi replied from the kitchen. "I am going to take my mother home and stay there for the night did you want to come?" Bokuto said from the living room. "No Bokuto-san I think I am going to stay and clean up then go to bed but you go ahead and have fun." Akaashi said as he started to wash dishes. "Okay see you tomorrow Kasshi love you." Bokuto said as he started to walk out the door " okay love you to Bokuto-san."

After arriving at Bokuto's mother house.

"Okay mom where here." Bokuto said.
"Okay" she said as she shot up and started speed walking to the door. " Thanks mom for helping me get out of the apartment" Bokuto said " No problem Kotaro now hurry up I can't wait to see what you are planning for your anniversary." she said with excitement in her voice. Bokuto nodded and pulled out his phone and started texting Kuroo.

Bokuto :
Kurbro i need your help

Kuroo:

Bokuto:
Nothing is wrong and I am going to tell you something and you must keep it a secret okay

So you know how you and Kenma just got a house on 10 acres of land right well could you host a new year's party and invite all our freinds to come

Broooo I literally already just got off the phone with everyone about coming to a new years party and they all said yes and that was literally right before you texted I was about to call you and Akaashi to ask but I guess I don't have to.

"Kotaro you want to watch a movie before we go to sleep?" his mother asked " sure mom" bokuto replied.

Akaashi's POV (happening at the same time as bokuto's conversation with Kuroo.)

Akaashi was preparing to go to bed when he got another text message. He opened his phone to see a message from Bokuto.

Bokuto: Goodnight Kasshi I love you and I will see you tomorrow and I let you know when I am ready because I have no way home.
Akaashi:

Akaashi was a little upset that he was going to be sleeping alone tonight but he was happy that Bokuto remembered to text goodnight this time.
