The New Land

(Chapter 1): Mission 1stEarth

"You were once orphans, lost in the most dangerous things of this world, but now you've become the most dangerous things in this world. It's time you show the world your youth, and become the most dangerous things of our solar system. The mission is very simple. I will explain your mission after you get your gear ready. After I explain the mission you all are leaving." General Scott said in his commando voice.

We all say yes sir and leave to our quarters. As I get my things ready; my girlfriend comes in.

"Here, if we die you would want this around your neck." April say's.

I respond here with, "April dont forget about my own dog tags." [I said with a disciplined voice but yet a little flirty laugh.]

She starts to leave my quarters and suddenly I see my father's sword, so I put it in my bag with emotions. Along with my clothes and head into the weapons area.

Cayden walks in and starts talking, "General Scott has assigned me captain of the team, and I'm asking you as you're best friend and brother to be my second in command?" Cayden says with the utmost respect.

"I don't know Cayden, you know I'm no leader." I responded and started walking towards where the pistols are.

He follows saying, "Please LeCoreyen look I can't do this alone, Plus you've been the captain of this team before." He says with a winning voice.

"Fine! Just let me get my things and we'll all meet before telling the general we're ready." I responded to him with an annoyed voice.

Then he replies with, "Thanks man I knew you would come through." I started to sigh. He leaves the room. Then out of nowhere Allison and Bracha came from behind me smacking my back saying simultaneously "Don't worry you got this."

We all meet in the cafeteria, but someone's missing.

"Noah!" we all said

As always. Noah walks in smacking the back of Cayden's head.

"I like ya cut G!" He says yelling and the team starts to laugh.

"QUIET!" Cayden says trying to act like he's the big dog in the room, "I am the leader of this team and LeCoreyen will be the second in command. If I die or the team seems to get ineffective he is to replace me immediately." Cayden said with pride.

Then Allison interrupts saying, "I love y'all but I dont know if this is a mission we're going to make it out of."

Then Noah comes in interrupting her saying, "You can't think like that the mission hasn't started yet and plus have some faith."

Then Bracha enters the conversation. "Well it is a mission from the United Nations they don't even like each other. So what's ever up there it has to be big."

I stop the conversation with something emotional to the team, "Alright y'all I want us to set our differences aside and get rid of fear. Who cares if we dont come back? At least we would die together without the world out casting us. We were orphans no one cared about us. Except us, not even the military. They just wanted to use us as weapons, manipulate us." I said with pain in my voice.

Then Cayden tries to cheer me up "You do realize if we succeed we will be able to go into the world as legends and also Allison you can finally find you a boyfriend instead of rejecting Noah all the time." Cayden says with a smirk on his face.

Then Gracie says: "Don't say that; what if I broke up with you right now? The team goes ohhhhhhhhhhhhh.

All of a sudden General Scott comes in. "I thought I told y'all to tell me when you all were ready! Cayden as the leader of the team give me fifty!"

Everyone in the room except me yells, "Don't forget LeCoreyen is his second in command!" They all say with irresistible giggles.

"Then how about you all drop down and give him a hundred?" The leaders in the United Nations start to say with no more patients. Then the team stands up immediately and does a solute.

"They 'll explain your mission so listen up!" The United Nations says. "The mission is to go to planet 1st Earth. We call it that because scientists have recently found out that humans used to live there but something or someone ran them out. You are to go there and investigate what ran them out and scavenge anything that looks futuristic. If there are any humans, transport them back to earth so that we can ask questions and learn more about what happens."

"Wait so you're sending us out of space so that we may find something that almost made sure we did not exist?" I say with anger in my voice.

"Not exactly, two weeks ago we detected movement coming from 1st Earth, and they were moving to the sun and back to 1st Earth. As if these things originated within the sun. We're afraid that someday they might attack earth when they are finished with what they're doing. We as the United Nations want to be ready for when that day comes."

"Yeah of course see they send us. The orphans instead of one of them. See I'm going to make a name for this type of racism." Noah says trying to make the team laugh.

"Mr.Darough please stop talking before you are removed from this team and killed." The president of China says with authority."

"There is a chopper outside to take you all to china. Once you all get there; you are to get on the space ship immediately and start the mission once the planet contacts us." General Scott says after shutting the device that the United Nations were on.

As everyone gets on the chopper, Noah mumbles under his voice, "Stupid China. Watch I'm going to knock him out if he tries to handshake any of us like we're friends or something."

"No you will not do that and I'll kill you myself!" I say and he shows a little weird face.

"Well I mean at least let him kick him in the nuts or something." Bracha says.

"NO y'all must want to die before we're accepted by the world." I say

The chopper starts to decline onto a helipad we got there by sunset and left early in the morning.

"Mr. President wasn't able to be here, but I'm here to send you into space please go through the ship and put on your space suits they're the skinny black tight suits." Says the instructor of the ship and the one who will be guiding us throughout the systems and where to go. None-other than. . . Mr. Kakifish. I got into the ship and saw that the United Nations put a counter on social media, all TV channels, fireworks, and radio's. Lift off in t minus 20 seconds. Said everything people were listening to.

As the counter starts going Cayden yells, "I love y'all and I hope we make it." Everyone in the ship says, "Love you too!"

April Bounthavy 2, and LeCoreyen Waites 1 they are out to lift off.

The team screams in excitement and fear saying that they couldn't believe they told the world our names and what we're doing.

"Half way there in the next two minutes you will be able to see the planet and the planet next door. Go to the first planet you see." Says Mr. Kakifish.

I don't know about the planet next door but there's only one with asteroids around. . . Boom!!!(A big yellow, orange, and red hot beam is shot at the ship.)

"HOLD ON WE'RE GOING DOWWWWN!" Gracie yells.

"It seems that whatever we were searching for just used the sun's energy to shoot us out the sky and I think they destroyed that planet before you got there!" Says Mr. Kakifish.

"Everyone brace for impact!" Says Cayden. The ship crashes into the dark black rainbow looking water.
