(Chapter 3) Bargaining With Fire

Cayden walks in behind the team as angry as ever. "What's wrong with you!? I said to lead the team, not get them killed!" He says pushing me."

"You asked me to lead the team and I didn't get mad with the decisions I've made because I didn't only make them but I made them with my team. It was a team decision so shut up and keep your hands off me!"

"Or what you gonna fight me c'mon big boy!" Cayden says all hyped up.

"Guy's?" Allison said but we ignored.

"I'm not fighting you Cayden but if you do touch me I will drop you! What did you think came with the job huh?"

"Guys!?" Allison said a little bit louder but we didn't hear her once again.

"As a leader you're gonna make mistakes as a human being you make mistakes now get off my case! We decided as a team!" I said.

Then he responds even if you made the decision as a team. You as the leader agreed with it you had the power to stop it and you didn't, and for that Gracie died! You live with that!

"STOPPP! You two are acting like kids, we all made the decision. Tell me Cayden did you stop Noah from going under that water did you send another guy with him to watch his back? That's what I thought so leave him alone about making a mistake as a leader because you made one as well, and you're making one right now too. There's movement at our six o'clock and if you would've listened to me earlier you'd know that." Allison said to her. (Get your act together voice.)

"There's more than one of them, but it appears that they were in a tomb. Bracha said with a scared voice."

"Wait Allison didn't you say that you saw a pyramid back when we came here right?" Cayden asks.

She responds with, "Yeah why?"

"This isn't an ordinary tomb. The movements up ahead are mummies and were trapped in here with them. This is a pyramid!" said Cayden.

"Just use the cloaking devices we got from the ghosts we'll be fine c'mon." Cayden said, still mad at me.

As we started to walk through the tomb noises could be heard from all sides and as soon as we thought we saw light it was shut out. The room starts to seem darker even though we all thought it wouldn't get any darker. Mummies just start groaning and walking trying to wrap us all up in bandages.

"I should've known this wouldnt work but yet again we follow you into the abyss." Said Bracha.

Just as we started to argue an unknown but quite familiar voice spoke within the dark tombs.

"Quite I am the leader of this ratchet world now and Count Dracula is just my second in command. Tell me did she go because of a choice you made? She never deserved it, but she got it the same goes for the boy as well." The unknown man starts to say in the pitch dark.

Cayden yells, "You know that decision was on LeCoreyen not me!"

Then the unknown man says, "Yes but you made the choice to put him in charge there for causing him to make a choice you disliked. It's very unfortunate that she can't join y'all when y'all leave here."

The light from earlier started to form a path outside of the tomb but when the light lit up the tomb the unknown man was out of site. As we journey to the end of the lighted path we got our acts together and we were going to need it for what was next. We exited the tomb with caution in fact we were so cautious that we didn't realize that we walked into a battle field for dragons.

"I- Is that dragon bones?" I said with a little excitement.

"It seems to be more than one. What is this place Cayden?" Allison asked with fear.
