A/N : Hi, it's late I know lol
I'll try and update this story as fast as I can along with the Xiao one, and this is to celebrate the New Years and late Christmas/holidays.

Place : Mondstandt

Aether POV :

Was it a good idea to bring these two to Mondstandt? They seem, confused of what to do but oddly happy.

"Xingqiu! Let's go see Mondstandt's specials. They have a ton of food, and this place is so open!" Chongyun was excited to see more people than just the regulars at Liyue.
"Ah, sure.." Xingqiu agreed, though was still suspicious about some of the population since it was so lightly guarded.

The two we're happily ordering food and other things to bring back to Liyue,, though we should pray for Aether's wallet..
Though thanking for Childe's loan, they're in his dept.
Well, Chongyun accidentally eating something with chili, it was one of Xiangling's dishes imported for Chongyun and Xingqiu.

"Eh.. it's okay. I really do like the spice, it adds a taste to it. But Chongyun is.." Xingqiu sighed at the sight of Chongyun eating a popsicle instead of actual food.
"Hm?" The Cyro user looked friendly and dumbfounded, on the other hand Razor was getting a bath from the Knights.

"Hey! Hurry up. Paimon wants to show you guys where me and the traveler do our work!"
"Okay. Later, we wanna check out things with Aether."
"Mhm."

They continued their food, almost choking on it too.
Seeing how fast a long distance can be found so simple.
Amazing for Aether, at least the two brought their own Mora. But Aether had insisted paying for it, he is an older brother figure for both of them.

"Ooh, we should go check out the Statue of The Seven, Anemo. I heard it's the same thing as the Geo." Chongyun had practically started walking there on his own, it was quite easy on how fast it could take. But Aether and Xingqiu walked with him, and Paimon too.

They arrived to the Statue of The Seven, Anemo. They relaxed and talked, while Chongyun and Xingqiu had talked right next to the tree, relaxing as they were, Chongyun had made a flower crown with the help of the younger girls in Liyue.

He placed the flower crown on Xingqiu, not really expecting a reaction since he already made one for himself. But Paimon had started whispering, "Kiss, Kiss, Kiss!", embarrassing them.
Well, Kaeya almost made them do so. Pushing their heads slightly together and positioned them, well Kaeya did get some karma afterwards.
He was greeted with an Anemo Slime, the other four voted on him to take it out, since Aether has done most of the work already.

Xingqiu and Chongyun looked away from each other while flustered, (more like fuckin' tomato heads) looking anywhere possible besides the other. Xingqiu slowly looked over the other, they wore flower crowns like they were a couple. But the drilled sensation of being denied was in Xingqiu's head, though worried about being denied as the first male-liking-male son of a clan, he had friends such as the traveler who would support him.

Not giving a care, Chongyun made the first move. While the traveler wasn't looking, neither Paimon or Kaeya, he leaned in for a small peck on the lips for Xingqiu. Then quickly moved as Aether looked back immediately after he sensed fast movements

Well, Xingqiu was still very red, Kaeya saw it for a glimpse of time while he was being dragged by Diluc back into Mondstadt.
Laughing they were, they asked Aether multiple questions from his journeys.

"Aether, what kind of items do you usually find on your trips? Like from chests." Chongyun was actually invested in knowing.
"Ah, books and a lot of hero wits. Me and Paimon look for chests or even find them randomly in the most odd spots." Replied Aether.
"What kind of books? Like catalysts or those crafting books?" Xingqiu got invested once he heard the word, 'book'.
"Crafting ones. Most of the time we don't even know what to do with them, they have no meaning in my opinion. If you would like, we have books in the Library of Mondstadt."
"Take me there." Xingqiu had a look in his eyes that definitely said, 'immediately.'

They walked to the library and met Bennet and Fischl there, along with Klee and Lisa. Kaeya was getting lectured by Lisa and Klee while Diluc just sat there reading on his free time, along with the other 2.
"Hey." Xingqiu waved, so did Chongyun. They looked around while Xingqiu's head was in book-world.
"Does he still know that he has the flower crown on..?" Chongyun whispered to Aether.
"Err.. probably not best to tell him. You've got a flower in your hair too." Aether replied to Chongyun quietly.

They laughed quietly trying not to get the whole library's attention, but soon joined in to listen to Kaeya getting lectured.

A/N : that took.. a while. well I'm pretty happy with the ending of it, it was 800+ words so I'm glad.
