Nathan's Logic
"What? What incidents?" I asked curiously.
"see..firstly,Louis asked about Maria..second.. Maria suspected that someone's from the present..point number three.. The white gown lady was old and we guessed that she was from the late 1800's. Point number 4 Maria also said that some spirit is in the present and is searching for us..our powers. The last and the most important incident that happened with Maria today was that she was thrown out of Kendall's body. " Nathan said.
" so what do you wanna let me know?" I asked.
"I am suspecting Louis and Kendall.." Nathan said.
I was in a shock for legit 5 mins..then I spoke..
"So..we've to tell Maria." I suggested.
"Sure..and not only that..we need to find that white gown woman also.." Nathan replied.
"Yes, you are right." I agreed.
CHAPTER 42
Talks with Bestie
I walked back to my seat packing up my bag for home. I was thinking about what Nathan told me. "He was suspicious, working like a real-life detective. He was intelligent. But I wonder if it is really Kendall? I don't know the answer. But according to Nathan's evidences it seems like Kendall could be related to Maria in some or other ways..also we should contact that lady. She might be knowing some answers to our questions." I spoke to myself.
"Hey..let's walk back home" someone spoke.
"Hi..ohh it's you.." I said. I was a bit scared.
"yes..It's me..you were busy thinking..like always." Ember said.
"Ohh..yes." I replied.
"What were you thinking about?" Ember asked.
"Nathan..I.. I mean Nathan's evidences." I said.
"What kind of?" Ember asked.
"You'll get to know when you're sleeping." I answered.
"When I am sleeping??!!" Ember said. She was confused.
"Stupid girl.." I said while patting my hand to my forehead.
"Ohh yeah yeah..We meet-up in dreams." Ember said.
"Okay let's go..I've put all my things safely in my locker." I said.
We walked through the street.
CHAPTER 43
Ember's sad
"You sad?" I asked
"A bit" Ember answered.
"Why? Express girl." I replied.
"We..we..we weren't able to teach Kendall a lesson..why?..Why Rosa why? She does bad and the Karma formula doesn't even reply to her.." Ember sobbed.
"It's okay Ember..sometimes things don't go as we planned it." I tried to calm her
"Why? Huh why? It isn't okay" Ember said.
It was crystal clear that she had a heartbreak.
"see.It is as simple as that..You just need to understand." I said.
"It isn't." Ember replied.
"It is. Just look at me..keep a calm." I said.
"What calm are you talking about..huh? You tryin' to borrow my pain in a pit!!" Ember yelled.
"calm...Ember calm" I said.
"I am not calm!" Ember shouted.
Something was happening in they surroundings..Temperature gained a rise.
CHAPTER 44
Her power
"What are you doing?" I asked.
Ember was out of control. She was using her powers. She was controlling the environment..Making temperature rises, Moving things like benches and trees through without even touching them but controlling with hands. Her pendant glowed much more. Situation was worse. Her blue eyeballs turned red. Her hands were glowing pink as her pendant did. She was hurting the surrounding. It was good that there weren't people at that time. I tried contacting Maria.
"Ember stop! You will hurt the poor little puppy." I shouted.
"I don't care" Ember shouted back.
I ran to save the puppy. I fell and took the puppy in my hand, I slided. I got hurt from the pink ray of Ember..My skin burnt a bit. I know it felt bad but I couldn't do anything. I tried to concentrate her mind towards me.
"Ember it's me, your best friend..Try controlling your power.." I screamed.
"I..I can't." Ember shouted back.
"What happened?" I asked.
"Headache..move! move! Move!" Ember shouted.
A tree was just gonna fall on me..It paused.
"hey..Just be careful next time"It was someone who saved me. I looked back to see who it was.
"Maria! Finally!" I screamed. It was Maria.
"We have to do something..she is OUT OF CONTROL!" Maria said.
What's Maria's plan? Why isn't there people around us? What happened to Ember? Did she lose control to her powers?
