We, The savers
After a couple of minutes everyone swallowed the truth and Kane spoke "what do you mean?"
"You guys are the savers." Maria spoke.
"Savors?" Ember asked.
"You all have secret powers." Maria spoke.
"How? How? We haven't even experienced any powers in us." I said.
"You will be handed the powers. You all are selected."Maria detailed.
"What do you mean by selected?" I asked.
"You all will help people like me" She smiled and said.
"We don't even have brains..and we will save people? " Ember said.
"No girl, you can get powers which you haven't even imagined!"Maria said curiously.
"Omg omg I am excited!!" Ember said excitedly.
"Okay so what do we do now? We don't even know what powers we have and..and how can we normal people get selected..?" Nathan asked.
"God's grace dear god's grace.." Kane spoke.
"First of all lemme tell you all that I have the secret stones with me..through which you can gain powers.." Maria said confidently.
Chapter 22
Secret Stones
"What are secret stones?" I asked.
"The stones which were in my locket and in my mom's.through this we gain some special powers for a particular reason. The special powers are always related and attached to your soul. It means that when you die..either you live like a soul with your powers or you choose heaven and pass on your stone to someone else. " Maria described.
"ooooo...Sounds interesting." Nathan said.
"Yes it is. But it is too hard to control your powers. Okay so let's begin..Ember!" Maria said.
"Yes!"she was in an army position-straight and attentive enough.
"What personality or speciality do you have?" Maria asked.
"Uhh.."
"Think about it carefully everyone and answer me.." Maria ordered.
Silence ran.
"Byee" Maria spoke.
Chapter 23
we promise
"Good morning sweethearts.."
"Good morning mrs Lora.."
I woke up. It was Ember and mom talking to each other. Kane and Nathan also woke up and mom served us choco milkshake. We dressed up for school and started walking..
"Yay yay..powers you know" Ember said excitedly.
"You know what..I am equally excited as Ember is! High five!" Kane and Ember clapped their hands.
"I still don't understand.." Nathan said.
"Just Chill " Ember spoke.
"But..what did she mean by our souls..something related to our soul?" I asked.
"She meant any quality such as power..Mine is power..I am a powerful person." Kane exclaimed.
"Oooo" ember replied.
"Wait..do you all remember she said 4 elements.." nathan said.
"yes..Nathan is right.." I replied.
"Ohh yeah the elements were..The power, The magic, The communication and.." Kane forgot the last one.
"And the Predictable!"Nathan spoke.
"So..we all will be given stones according to this.."I said.
"Let it go..Guys and girls promise that you will not leak this information" Nathan said.
"Yes" I replied
"never-ever"Kane said.
"I promise!" Ember spoke.
"Good." Nathan replied.
We went to our lockers for finding our books but on the way I don't know why everyone was looking at me..I FELT EMBARASSING!
Chapter 24
Embarrassments
I saw a paper sticked on my locker..tears in my eyes and anger in my mind.
The same paper was sticked on Ember's locker. The paper showed Ember and me standing beside the wall. The paper captioned 'Ember and Rosalia talking to the school walls..someone help them..take them to the mental hospital..'
I was quite angry.
"did you see that?" Ember spoke in a low voice.
"This Kendall!!!!" shouted.
"Leave.." Ember spoke.
We entered our classroom. Mrs Denice was already in. We faced embarrassed again..
"Hey..you you know" Kane spoke.
"Yes we know! That Kendall is just!"I cut Kane's sentence and spoke.
"Hiee" Louis spoke.
Louis was a quite student. He was new in our class.
"Hey,'' Ember spoke.
"You are Maria right?" Louis said.
Our faces were white in colour..
How can Louis even know about Maria! Why did he even call Ember Maria..is he the one connected to Maria? Is he here to give us a warning?
