"Hey heyy~ How does the most flamboyant strong man doing today?! Having fun crushing the newbies' bones and dreams?" A tall handsome man with an almost tanned skin, dressed in an eye-catching outfit asks the stone pillar.

The sound pillar, Tengen Uzui who is on a break after whacking his pupils in their training, went to check up his closest friend.

  "Hm? Well, you know.. the usual." Himejima answered him without looking at his direction. "I hope you don't come here to tease my pupils. What brought you here, Tengen?" He asks back calmly.

Tengen snorts. "I apparently just passed by a very flamboyant and famous dango stall on my way here just now, so I thought I might buy some flamboyantly delicious and sweet dangos for the two of us!" He said whilst shoving a box of dangos to Himejima.

  Himejima raised his eyebrows in amusement and smiled at the action, taking the box that have been offered by his friend. "Why didn't you buy some for the others too?" Himejima quickly shut his mouth. He didn't expect that the question would slip so easily from his tongue. 'Now he'll think I'm questioning if he only bought this dangos just to spoil me. Only me.'

  However, Tengen seems unfazed by the question and his smile softens, a sight that is quite rare even its among the Hashiras or his friends. "I told you already. For the two of us. Oh, cut the unflamboyant crap! I actually didn't thought I have to buy some for them." Tengen rolls his eyes and cackles casually.

  Himejima shyly nods and tell his pupils they can take a lunch break and continue later on. He and Tengen then found a nice spot near a shady tree, sit down together and enjoying their dessert. "Tengen.. I have a question." Himejima broke the seemingly comfortable silence between them. "What would you do if I, one day, die?"

  The sound pillar stops chewing momentarily, processing the question real slow. He then swallows the remaining sweet and sighs, shaking his head. "Why do you ask such question here and now?" Tengen give him a soft questioning glare. "First, I woulda doubt that. You're the strongest here."

Himejima is not shocked by his statement. He always hear that from his fellow Pillars, lower ranked demon slayers and Ubuyashiki. But this time, he wants an honest answer from Tengen. From his friend. From a love interest. "You know thats not an answer I want."

Tengen now is a bit annoyed but nod anyways. He's still thinking on how to tell Himejima his answer in a good way. "I..I would visit you everyday. Every single free time I have. I would stay by your side like I always do. I would stay by your side just like the first time we met." Tengen coughs, hiding his almost pink face.

Himejima's eyes well up with tears. But its not his usual and normal tears. This time its a happy tears. He then chuckles and playfully shoves Tengen's shoulder. "You're suddenly an unflamboyant gentle dorkish boy in love." He said whilst giggling in mid sentence.

Tengen's widen. 'Unflamboyant? Gentle? Dorkish? Boy in love??' He gasped dramatically. "Himejima-san!! How dare you calling me unflamboyant! And a boy too! I am the most flamboyant gentle man in love on Earth!" He jokingly exclaim. But then he stops talking suddenly. Face goes red as much as possible.

Himejima smirks. "Did you said 'man in love' just now, Tengen-san?" He continues to tease Tengen. "Are you really in love with me?"

Tengen glares at him. "You unflamboyant sicko. Of course I AM." He suddenly have the courage to tell Himejima more since he's about to leave the place as well. "Why not? You're so flamboyantly tall and big but kind and loving. Who on this cracked geography of mud planet would dislike you so much? Besides, you're my closest and first friend."

Himejima is so surprised by his answer that his face turns red as well. "O-oh?" Himejima internally facepalms himself.

"Is it.. wrong to fall in love with your own best friend, Himejima?" Tengen asks him, his pinky intertwines with Himejima's. "Is it wrong to fall in love with you?"

Himejima is blind, but not an idiot. He releases his pinky from Tengen's and take his hand in his large one. "It never is wrong unless you have doubt in the said love." Himejima smiles. "And also.." He then took both of Tengen's hands and put them infront of his chest, as if he's trying to tell Tengen something serious. "I too, would stay by your side. No matter what. Not even death could part us both."

Thats when they both knew, their relationship as friends has already faltered and turn into something new, something warm and lovely. Its called love.
