His Story

[Third Person's POV:]

Josuke Higashikata is the eldest son of  Joseph Higashikata, or better known as Don Higashikata. The head of the Higashikata Family.

He has siblings in fact, he has 3 siblings.

Josuke was the wisest and the best child the Don could have, he planned that Josuke will inherit the family business. Josuke was the reincarnation of the Don himself. He was fit for it, but Josuke has other plans for his life.

The second one is named Sonny, most people call him Santino. He stand at 5'11 with brown curly cupid hair. He was known for his short fuse, he was known for being the toughest in the family. He will beat anyone to a pulp like his older brother Josuke. He wanted to be the right man of his older brother once he inherited the family business. But his life was cut short. He was gunned down by the other families. It wasn't personal it was only business.

His 3rd sibling is named Mike short for Michael. He was short standing at 5'9 with straight dark brown hair. Josuke supported his youngest brother with his decisions. Like going to college and becoming a lawyer. Mike was a simple guy, with a simple dream. The Don's plan for Michael is to become a consigliere (Mafia Adviser in Italian). But his life was cut short when the enemy killed him in cold blood. Shooting him in the head in a point blank range in front of Josuke.

Now for the youngest child, her name was Kat. Short for Katherine. Josuke protected her from the moment she was brought to the world. He told his sister to avoid the family business. To which Kat followed her older brother. Now Kat resides in the Don's home, protected but innocent from the family business. Waiting for Josuke's return.

Now back to Josuke. Josuke stands at 6'2 ft. Tallest among his siblings. He was kind, soft hearted, understanding, patient. Almost all of the aspects of a good man you can think of. He doesn't want to inherit the family business. He wanted to be a doctor. He wanted to help people not kill and take other people down. He was 13 at that time when he heard his father and his consigliere talking about inheritance of the family business.

He rebel against his father. Leaving his home and start his own revolt against the families. He and his gang took out the caporegimes (Mafia lower boss) of the families. Shutting down the businesses of the families. Not involving the authorities. 

Taking down the gambling, narcotics, alcohol, smoking and other illegal vices. Josuke see these as irrelevant things and bad for society, he wanted peace. He wanted to live without any dangers, build his own family without living in danger, no one planning to take his life. 

Josuke built his gang from scratch, stealing weapons from the places they raided. Taking down anyone who was involve in the mafia businesses.

Eventually while studying overseas, his gang was busy taking down the businesses. Eventually Josuke found someone, who understands him. Her name is  Kim Chaewon. She stands at 5'3, with brown short hair, and was cute. Josuke fell inlove with her. Chaewon fell inlove with him too, Josuke protected her, like there was no tomorrow. But while his gang raided and take down the illegal businesses run by the mafia families.

The families arranged a meeting to take down Josuke's gang, The families agreed, so was his Father. 

Before returning back to Korea, The Don has a planned arranged for Josuke only. The Don arranged a meeting for him, where he would meet Josuke, and kill him on the spot while His men were killed by The Don's men. 

Josuke was prepared for this, The Don thought he outsmarted his eldest son. 

Josuke arrived to Japan with Chaewon, Josuke's plan was to introduce Chaewon into the family and make a treaty to stop this war, and let him go and support him of his dream of becoming a doctor.

Josuke received the meeting invitation, Josuke asked if the place can be a public place like a restaurant so he would feel safe so as the other party. The Don agreed. 

Time finally came, The Don were accompanied by his Consigliere, while Josuke was accompanied by Chaewon. 

The Don was shocked to see his son brought someone. 

They sat down at the round table, the restaurant was kinda busy since it was dinnertime. 

The Don offered Josuke, a deal nobody can refuse. Josuke declined the offer without any hesitations, and said what he wants. "I want my life to be free, free with Chaewon. No mafia, no illegal businesses! If you want find another son!" Josuke said to his father. 

The Don declined, Josuke stood up and left with Chaewon. The Don knew his eldest son's weakness, which is his love one.

The Don quickly commanded his men to follow Josuke and take chaewon away from him. The men followed him quickly. 

The men looked for a time where Josuke wasn't with Chaewon, they found it. 

Josuke left his apartment to buy some groceries, from his return his apartment was ruined, no Chaewon inside. 

The Don called him, telling to accept the offer or face the consequnces. Josuke went to his Father's Home without any plan, which was the most grave mistake of his life. 

He took down the men of his father. He reached the dark room, Chaewon was tied up to a chair. The Don pointed a gun towards her head. Chaewon was sobbing. 

"LET HER GO! SHE'S INNOCENT!" Josuke shouted at his father, without any respect to the man who raised him. 

Josuke fought his father trying to take the gun away from him. 

*BANG!* 

The gun fired, shooting Chaewon. Falling to the ground lifeless. 

Josuke ran to her lifeless body, "CHAEWON!" Josuke shouted in agony. 

His father looked at him with disgust, "Now take the offer!" His father said to him.

"NO! You made me another reason to kill you!!" Josuke shouted at his father. 

His men took out them both out of the house. 

Chaewon was given a proper burial, neither one of his father's men paid their respects. Josuke promised himself not to fall in love again, to avoid this incident from happening again.

Josuke went home blaming his self for chaewon's death. 

As he was grieving his father's men was taking out Josuke's gang, cleaning up the neighborhood. Painting houses. 

Josuke heard the news, that his gang was no more. His men was ambushed by His father's men. 

Josuke was now all alone. While this is happening, his father took his eldest's son advice. "Find a new son." 

The Don adopted one, the same age as Josuke, his name was Kang Daniel. Without prior to Josuke's knowledge so as Kd's Knowledge. 

Because The Don knew they would soon face each other. 

Kd was 5'9 a shorter to Josuke, he has a straight hair and was paled skin. He was the same as the Josuke. But the Don hated some of his traits, which was being a playboy. 

The Don told the story that Josuke was dead and his name was Vincent. 

Which was true Vincet was Josuke's real name. He only changed so his father will have a hard time finding him. 

That's the backstory of Josuke (Vincent) Higashikata.
