Chapter 1: A Day Together

Igneel's POV

I was resting at the empty valley, enjoying the calming breeze as it passes by... Then, I sensed a presence, a presence that is very familiar to me. "You're here again, Lunaria Starlight? Don't you have anything better to do?" I said with my eyes closed. "Nope! Before I met you, I just hang out here alone. But now that you're here, I finally have someone to talk to everyday!" She said with a big smile. I open my left eye, when I found the conversation quite interesting. "Are you saying you have no friends at all?" I asked. She shook her head. "I lived in the forest all my life, and not many people come here. So my only friends are they animals in the forest!" She said and sat leaning against my left arm.

Igneel looks away. "Humans... I can never understand them." Igneel mumbled to himself. Then, the bushes nearby rustled. Both of us opened our eyes and looked at the rustling bush. Turns out it was just a black & white cat. Lunaria jumped up & ran to the cat. "Monochrome! You're here!" She exclaimed, picked up the cat and brought it to Igneel. "Look! Look, Igneel! Isn't he cute?" She said while showing him the cat. "No."I said flatly and Lunaria frowns. "He is ADORABLE! How could to a cute cat like this, you heartless dragon!" She yelled. I backed off. If she could heal me, who knows what kind of crazy attack she'll send to me. "Alright, fine! It's cute!" I shouted & in an instant she smiled. "I told you he's cute!" She said and sat back down at where she sat before & played with the cat. Suddenly, all sorts of animals came to her. There were cats, rabbits, birds, wolves, foxes, squirrels and a few more. I sweatdropped at the sight of her and the animals.

Timeskip: Nighttime

Lunaria's POV

The sun set and it was night time! Star viewing time! I laid on the grass in front of Igneel. He just looked at me. "Who are you actually, Lunaria?" He asked. "What?" I asked back wanting to make sure if I didn't misheard it. "You live in a forest your whole life, can heal a dragon & attracts all sorts of animals. That's actually a little different than any average human." He stated. "Then I'm above than average!" I exclaimed with a big smile. Igneel seems unsatisfied with my answer but brushed it off. "Tell me about yourself, Igneel." I asked him. "I have nothing to tell..." He said and closes his eyes. "Then, I'll ask question! Ummm, do you have a human form?" I asked while sitting up.

"I do. Why?" He asked me. My eyes lit up. "Show me, Show me!" I asked him while jumped in front of him. He grunted. "No." He said flatly. I started to tear up. "But, but...." I said while holding back my tears. Igneel looked panicked. "Ok, ok! I'll show you!" He said. I smiled. "Yay!" Then light illuminated from Igneel. When the light died down, a man about 20 years old appeared. He has striking red hair, dark brown eyes and wears a black orange lined vest and baggy pants (a/n: like what natsu wears). "You happy?" He asked while brushing his hair away from his eyes. I stared in awe. He looks really handsome & dashing... I brushed the thought off. What am I thinking? "Yup!" I smiled at him. He sat down under a tree.

He closes his eyes. I sat next to him and put my head on his shoulder. His eyes shot open but I pretended like I didn't noticed. Suddenly, a cool breeze came. I, who is wearing a dress, slightly shivered. Igneel noticed & pulled me onto his lap & hugged me. My eyes shot open & looked at him "Your cold, right? Stay like this if you want to." He said & closes his eyes. I think I saw a slight blush there. I blushed a little as well. I then leaned to his strong build chest. He's so warm... Must be because he is a fire dragon. Igneel hugged me tighter. I smiled & slowly drift to sleep...
