I left. I ran.
Hoping no one would chase me. Hoping I'd finally die. But then I turned around and saw you.
You somehow made me want to feel alive.

Marinette groaned. She was supposed to be back to Chat but something was sending electric waves inside her head.

It was hurting her.

"Marinette! Marinette?!"

"Bunnix! What happened? How am I supposed to get out?!"

She shouted.

Chat was waiting for her. Outside the bathroom. She wished that Chat wouldn't hear her.

"Marinette--did you lose the watch?"

"Y-yeah. I left it on the last universe"

She cried. She was still so upset about that. It was her fault.

"Shit! O-okay so he didn't give me all the details but he said that you should fall in hmmph wjiensn!"

"Bunnix? Bunnix?!"

Then something bled. Her ear rang. She bit her hand to stop herself from screaming. This wasn't supposed to be happening. Her right ear was bleeding. It was ringing.

She turned on the water and splashed it on her face.

"Bunnix?!"

She whisper yelled. She could only hear a muffled voice. Trying to say words.

"Marinette. There's side affects. You'll randomly giggle. This is what happens when you stay in universes that aren't yours for too long. Please please, figure this out. I can't tell you or else he'll kill you. I'm sorry Marinette, I shouldn't have dragged you into--"

A shot fired.

Everything went silent. She couldn't hear Bunnix's voice anymore.

Someone fired a shot.

And Marinette hoped it wasn't a Bunnix.

"B-Bunnix? No no no! This isn't your fault. None of this is our fault. I'll figure this out. I'll figure it out. I just-- I just need some time"

Then another laugh came through her mouth. She was laughing. Just like what Bunnix said, with every power there is always a weakness.

And right now, hers was laughing for no reason.

"Marinette? Are you alright?"

Chat asked through the door. Marinette shook her head. Fear in her eyes and tears dripping.

She coudktn afford to lose Bunnix. Bunnix was too young. Was too pure to be killed.

Marinette ran. Pushing the door open, almost colliding with Chat but she pushed him gently and ran to who knows where.
