Bular was on guard while Jim slept with the amulet in his hand. Bular wasn't sure who was out there, but he'd pound their face in if he found them.
He sighed softly as he glanced at Jim. He would have to train his brother soon, even though he really didn't want to.
"I can keep him safe how he is now..."

As the sun began to set Jim yawned and tried to sit up, but found himself locked in his brother's embrace. Bular was blankly staring into the forest, not noticing Jim's struggle to try and get out of his arm.
"Brother.... Bular... hey!"
Jim had gotten one arm free hand jabbed a finger at the black prince's face, startling him but getting the result Jim wanted.
Bular let go and Jim stood up.
"Sheesh, pay attention when someone's talking to you."
Jim crossed his arms as he was already being ignored again. Bular was focused on the forest again, eyes slowly gazing to and fro. Taking every detail into account.
Jim gave up on getting Bular's attention anyone soon and walked out of the hut to stretch. Sereya wasn't around it seemed so without anything to do Jim wandered around again.
He looked at the amulet as he paced around, staring at the engravings. He suddenly felt like he had remembered something, dropping the small circular object to the ground from the sudden surprise.
He glanced around before picking the amulet back up. Though he couldn't place it, he felt like there were eyes on him.
"Jim, don't wander off!"
Bular was walking towards the half troll with perplexed visage.
"I didn't. You weren't saying attention to me. Plus, I'm still in the camp aren't I?" Jim said with a childish smirk.
Bular rolled his eyes. He then felt it too, the eyes. He glanced around again but was careful not to make it too obvious.
"So, what is this training I'm gonna do?"
"That was a lie to get your mother to shut up. I'm not training you just yet."
"My mother? She's yours too isn't she?"
Bular grumbled to himself and looked at Jim. He had to make a quick decision to make sure Jim didn't learn about Gunmar.
"Yes, you're right. How foolish of me."
Jim smiled in satisfaction and looked at the amulet again.
Bular had a thought as he watched Jim. He really was being foolish. Wasn't it all those years ago he taught Jim becuase he refused to have a weak brother? Was he going to let one near death experience stop him? Or Jim, for that matter?
The answer was no.
"No, Jim listen up. Maybe if you get knocked around a bit in training you'll remember."
Without warning Bular swung a fist at his brother. Thankfully Jim retained some of his muscle memory and evaded the attack. He fell back on his butt and looked up at Bular in shock.
"What'd you do that for?!"
Bular replied to Jim's squaking with another swing of his fist. Once again Jim rolled out of the way. The amulet began to glow, sensing Jim's fear.
"This is training Jim. So far you're doing good."
Jim fumbled over his words while dodging another attack. He caught another flash of a vision that make him pause but the blow to the face he received moments after bloodied his nose and sent him flat onto the ground. He was dazed a moment but he got something else back while he laid there.
