Chapter 2

Ten years later

*Beep* *Beep* *Beep*

Groaning i slammed my hand on the damn alarm clock and sat up.

I blinked slowly to clear my sight, yawning and stretching till I heard a satisfying pop.

Getting up I forced my self to start my morning routine even though its sunset.

Why am I awake at sunset?

Right I work a night job.

At age of sixteen?

Rin decided to drop out of school, so I did the same, I already already skipped alot classes with him in the past just because they were boring.

I also got into alot of fights due to him wanting to fight off some bullies.

None the less it always got us in trouble.

My parents went over board four years ago, appearantly both of them are exorcists and they deemed me responsible enough to be left alone with them sending me allowance each month.

Responsible, yeah right...

I poored some milk onto some cereal and sat down to eat.

I freeze holding the spoon mid air near my mouth when I felt it.

Waves and waves of a strong demonic aura, that resembled my actual father but at the same time slightly different.

My eyes widened in realisation, so hurriedly I grabbed my twin exorcist guns, and my demon radar, and left the house after double checking my ammo.

Jumping from roof to roof while running Naruto style, I spotted Rin and a familiar old geezer surrounded by hell hounds.

I hope Astaroth forgives me for this later...

Grabbing my guns I double flipped in the air shooting all the hell hounds before landing perfectly before a stunned father Fujimoto and Rin who both had their jaws to the ground.

"M-MIZUKI?!" Rin shouted surprised.

"The one and only! I knew that those camping trips with mom and dad would come in handy" I mumbled the last part loud enough for them to hear it as the Fujimoto pushed us inside the building.

"How did you find us kid?" Fujimoto asked and I pulled out a demon radar that read Rin's high demonic signals.

Fujimoto gave it a stern look before nodding and catching the gun I tossed him.

With that we made our way back to the church while protecting Rin.

Man father must really want him...

Little brother sure can be a pain....

No time focus!

I stood in a fighting position with the gun that I got back from Fujimoto waiting till someone attacks, holding both guns in front of me and ignoring Rin's shouts to get out from wherever Fujimoto put him.

Guess he was told he's a demon...it's not that bad you know...I mean I am one too... His older brother that is...

Soon a truck came crashing in and out came Astaroth possessing some kid and acting like a creep.

"What the heck happened to him in my absence" i mumbled under my breath as I shot near him, trying to avoid shooting my little brother which nobody noticed.

Next thing I know he was shocking me in the air.

"Hmmm you look familiar, have we met before?" he asked looking at my face closer.

"Ouch it hurts that you forgot who am I little brother" I whispered so only he could hear.

His eyes widened in horror and he dropped me to the ground.

"Shhhh don't tell father or the others I am undercover, and you know the rules" I whispered again and he nodded before kicking me into a wall.

With that everything went black.

Next thing I know I woke up on the couch in the church only to find out father Fujimoto was killed by Satan while trying to obtain Rin.

And Rin explained to me that he's appearantly a demon and Satan's spawn after I asked why he was after him.

"Wait so you came after the demon on your radar?" Rin asked after I answered bis answer as to how I knew he's in trouble.

"But how do you know about demons? And how can you use weapons?" he asked again.

"My parents are exorcists, and their in America doing their job, during summer camps that they dragged me into each year was training to fight and defend myself against demons after I started seeing them" I explained and he nodded going back to sulking as I patted his back softly.

I'll be here for you little brother no matter what.

Hopefully Astaroth won't blow my cover....
