Anthony's Return

Chapter 13

Nick pulls me into the limo, the driver tipping his hat. I giggle collapsing onto his lap. The driver closes the door. Nick grabs my face.

"My beautiful wife." He sighs. Our lips meet. "You make me so happy, Gabriella."

"You make me happy." I say. He kisses me again making sure to shower my face with kisses. "I can't believe we are finally married."

"My dream come true." He agrees.

"You're such a mush." I joke. "I love you."

"I love you, too. I'm just happy I got to marry my best friend." He defends. I feel myself melt. I hug him. "Ooo." I let him go. He reaches over me and grabs two glasses. He hands me one. He then grabs the complimentary bottle of champagne. I watch him fill my glass with the fizzy liquid.

"Mmm." I sigh. He fills his and sets the bottle aside. I hold my glass up to him.

"Til death do us apart." He says. "Filled with love and adventures." Our glasses clank together. "Happiness and success." I sip my drink.

"To us and our family." I say.

"Our growing family." He adds. I swirl the liquid in my glass. "I love you so much."

"Nick, I love you." I respond instantly. He pulls me in for a delicious kiss.

The ride to the resection hall is short. Everyone is already here. We wait outside the building with the wedding party so we can be announced in. Gia is passed out in my arms. She wont be happy when we go inside. Nick holds us against him. Christy smiles over at me.

"Congratulations, sweetie. I'm so happy for the both of you." She expresses. "I've been waiting for tis day for a while now. Seeing you two so happy ugh. It's perfect."

"Thank you." I whine. "It means a lot."

"Have you guys decided about your honeymoon yet?" She asks. I bite my lip as the rest of the brides made watch in awe.

"Eventually after we expand and settle in and things are in tip top shape we are going to travel with Gia." Nick responds. "Europe actually, Italy and Greece."

"But making sure the company is set before we leave is most important." I say.

"That's exciting that you guys are doing that." She says excited. Two by two the wedding party starts being announced in. Nick places a kiss on my nose before wrapping an arm around me. Christy gets called in with Nicks cousin. I hear the applause.

"Now introducing for the first time, Mr. and Mrs. Hansen!" The DJ's voice hypes. We walk inside slowly. Everyone smiles and claps. The bridal party waits on the dance floor for us.

"Should we pass Gia to your mom?" He whispers. I shrug as we walk.

"I just don't want her to cry." I admit. Once we get to the dance floor, the DJ silences the room. The bridal party stands on the outskirts of the dance floor.

"Now will be the bride and grooms first dance." He calls. I glance up at Nick. We never really danced together before besides swaying while hugging. He carefully pulls me in his arms making sure to not bump Gia. 'Can't help falling in love' by Elvis Presley beings playing. We sway to the music, our eye contact not breaking.

"I love you." I say.

"I love you." He responds. "SO much." He kisses my lips softly before pulling away again. His eyes hold mine, passion filled in them. It was as if we were the only ones in the room. "Take my hand, take my whole life too, for I can't help falling in love with you." His voice serenades me. Before I know it the songs is over and our moment is interrupted by clapping. Next is the father daughter dance.
