What if we go with pink!"
"We need to go over the guest list again!"
"I thought you guys were going with the Hardens hotel venue!"
"Where are the table favors?"
The moms are out of control running around. I run my hands through my hair for the thousandth time. I'm literally going to shoot myself.
"We have to leave for rehearsal in a moment."
"Gabriella! I told you to make your own bouquet out of fake flowers to save money and keep it as a keep sake."
"The set up isn't as glamorous as it should be!"
"Where is Nicholas?"
"Do you have your something blue yet? Aunt Kat sent you a blue guarder."
I rub my eyes. Nick knew how crazy it was going to be so he stayed at work and insisted I went home early.
"Nicholas!" His mother screams into her phone. "Are you on your way to the rehearsal?" Oh Jesus christ. "Well leave earlier than that. Don't forget about the possible traffic!" Of course, because there is always a boat load of traffic at eight at night on a Sunday. It's always a ghost town on Sunday evenings. I get up from the chair I am sitting in.
"Gia, baby. Bring mommy your shoes." I call. I go to the cabinet and grab a few snacks out for her just incase. I shove them into her diaper bag. I hear her little feet running against the kitchen floor.  I look at her. In one hand she holds a blue shoe that has Elsa on it. In her other hand is a pink sparkly loafer. "You know what, you can wear that. At least you brought me a left and a right shoe." I pick her up setting her on the counter. Our moms rush around grabbing their belongings. I put Gia's shoes on.
"Gabriella! Your child is not going out like that!" My mom lectures.
"Mom seriously, we have to go. It's okay for a half hour." I defend grabbing Gia and rushing out the front door.
At the venue, Nick greets us at the door. He holds it open for us. Passing by him, I squint. Gia squirms noticing him.
"Hi daddy." Gia screeches. I set my traitor down; instantly, she clings to him.
"Hi my little princes!" He greets picking her up. I cross my arms as he studies her shoes. "I, uh, like your shoes." Sighing, I walk inside.
Once everyone whos going to be in the wedding shows up, the director, Harry, arrives with his assistant Amy. The room is loud with chaos and anxiety. They stand on the platform in front of us.
"Hello everyone. This is the Hansen party?" The Harry asks. Yes's are mumbled. "Okay" He opens his folder. "There is good news and bad news." My stomach drops.
"What do you mean!" My mom whales. "I thought-"
"Ma'am. The bad news is that The building isn't going to be open besides the bathrooms and where Miss. Parker will be in the bridal suit." I feel sick. This would fucking happen. Commotion erupts from the crowd.
"Why weren't we told this sooner" Nick growls annoyed. "This has been booked over a year ago!"
" Quiet please!" Amy calls.
"The good news is that the construction in back is finished and the church has offered the wedding to be held outside with money back due to the inconvenience." Harry reads. My head tilts. An outside wedding? I yank my phone out with everyone else and check the weather.
"It's going to be beautiful tomorrow." Nick's mother sighs. A weight is lifted from my chest.
"If you follow us, we will like to show you it and rehearse how and when we walk down the isle." Harry announces. We all file toward the narrow hallway. "We would love for the soon to be bride and groom to be in front." Nick and I shimmy to the front. Harry opens the doors for everyone to come out.
