Since Elanie didn't get out of the forest alot, she'd go and look for stuff to make food and decorations out of almost daily there.
She never really took alot of time to come back..
Exept this one day.
This one f*cking day.
Elanie decided to go out to find some sage and mushrooms to finish a mushroom stew she was making since it was her brothers favourite food.
She went out, and wandered around the forest. She found and gathered quite some interesting stuff; some crystals, some lavender, some mushrooms and even some feathers.
She didnt realise how long she was gone for.. The sun was starting to set as she realised how much time has passed.
She also realised how long she has been walking for..
It was quite impressive not going to lie, but it was scary for her since she was deep inside the forest. (( ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° ) sorry-))
She also didn't have a gaslamp with her since she tought she'd only be gone for a hour or so, just like how she normally is.
Elanie tried to follow her steps back, but she realised that with every step she took, the more steps got added...
By the time she saw her house, it was covered in moss.
She froze in place for a minute or so..
Then she took her scout knife that she used to cut mushrooms with and started to try cutting away the moss from her house while she screamed her brothers name, crying.
''LUCAS??'' she cried.
''LUCAS, IF YOU HEAR ME, T-THEN PLEASE ANSWER..''
The more she cutted the moss.. The thicker it got.
While she was crying and not seeing where she was cutting properly..
Her scout knife hitted something.. hard.
