Our first Christmas - Sapnap

Summary: Sapnap and his partner moved in together a month ago and it's now their first Christmas together. The day goes by with the couple spending their time together, decorating the house and the tree, going outside for snowball fights and cuddling infront of the tv watching some films whilst drinking hot coco.

This little oneshot is for a friend of mine and I hope it's good enough!

--NOBODY'S POV--

The sun started to rise on a breezy Monday morning. Christmas was coming up fast. It would arrive on the Friday coming and the couple had not decorated their new home at all. The couple in question were both young, both only 19 and still in school.

About a month ago, Nick, also known by his Youtube and Twitch name Sapnap, had posed the question to his girlfriend, (Y/N) also known as (Y/C/N), that they should buy a home together and move in. (Y/N) had agreed and here they were! The two were happy with their home and happy with themselves.

(Y/N) woke up first, gently shaking her boyfriend, excitement taking over her. "Hey...Good morning sleepy head...Come on wake up, we need to go decorate the house..." She spoke in a hushed tone, slipping out of bed. Nick let out a small groan, just wanting to sleep some more. (Y/N) laughed and grabbed some clean clothes, rushing to the bathroom.

--SMALL TIMESKIP--

Once the couple had finally gotten ready, Nick brought out a large rectangular box which held a particularly large Christmas tree and some small decorations. He then brought out another large box FULL of decorations for the tree and the rest of the house. The second the tree was up, the laughter started. In the box there was a headband with reindeer antlers on them. (Y/N) reached up and carefully put them on Nick's head, smiling brightly. "You look so cute!" She laughed, leaning down to pick up some ornaments to decorate the tree with.

A smile made its way onto Nick's face as he watched his slightly smaller girlfriend waddle around the tree, carefully placing the decorations onto the tree. Nick grabbed some tinsel and wrapped it around the tree, listening to the soft hums from his lover. In this moment, he wanted nothing more, this was perfect.

After 30 careful minutes, the two stepped back and admired their work. The tree was decorated beautifully and all that was missing was that star on top. (Y/N) reached up, the star resting in her hand. However, she wasn't tall enough. "Uh...Babe you can put the star on top..I can't reach." She glanced at Nick, about to hand the golden glittery star to him, when he hoisted her up to reach the top. (Y/N) froze for a moment and then laughed happily, carefully putting the star on the very top of the tree. Finally, it finished and it looked so perfect.

Pulling (Y/N) close, Nick pressed a small kiss to the back of her neck, slowly stepping back so they could admire their work together. "Ah! It looks so pretty! I think we did a good job!"

Nick gently set his lover down, taking a quick look outside. He gasped and rushed to grab his coat and shoes. "Come on!!! Get your shoes on, it's snowing!" He yelled, full of excitement as he rushed to slip his shoes on and unlock the back door at the same time. (Y/N) stood for a moment to just watch her boyfriend act like a small child. She smiled and grabbed her shoes and jacket, swiftly putting them on to join Nick outside. What she saw next just made her heart melt and made her fall in love with the boy more. Nick rushed around rolling up a large ball of snow and then another slightly smaller one and then another smaller one, trying to achieve the perfect snowman. Why did he have to be so cute? Whilst he was working away, (Y/N) packed some snow together into a ball and launched it at Nick - it it him right in the back of the head.

Nick slowly turned around. "Oh...Oh you're in for it now..." He grabbed two handfuls of snow and made a slightly bigger ball, throwing it right at (Y/N), luckily for her, she moved. Despite her hands already being numb, she quickly grabbed as much snow as possible and ran towards Nick, just about managing to catch his side with the snow. This small fight turned into a whole war, the two laughing and yelling at each other as they ran around their rather large back garden.

When the cold got too unbearable, the couple went inside, still laughing and covered in snow. Taking off their coats and shoes by the door, they went and changed and then returned downstairs. (Y/N) went to the living room to find a nice film to watch whilst Nick stayed in the kitchen making hot chocolate with marshmallows. The heating was now on making the house nice and warm in contrast to the freezing cold outside. Nick walked into the living room with two cups in his hands. He placed the cups on the table and sat down next to his partner, pulling her close the second he was seated. (Y/N) lay her head on his shoulder and put on Klaus, an animated Christmas film. The two sat in silence enjoying each others company.

"Hey Nick?" (Y/N) lifted her head and looked up at her boyfriend.

"Hmm? What's up babe?" He looked down at her and smiled, his heart warming just from the sight of her, god he was so in love.

"Nothing, I just wanted to say I love you~" She smiled and gently kissed his lips. Nick chuckled and pulled her close, gently kissing all over her face, cherishing this moment.

"I love you too, merry Christmas~"
