Liza had an appointment to see her baby. Olivia felt bad about how things transpired about the baby. She said a lot of things she knew hurt Liza and she didn't mean it and wanted to reconcile with her expecting sister. Liza came to the kitchen.
Olivia: Liza, do you want some breakfast?
Liza: No, thank you. I'm not hungry.
Olivia: You're pregnant, you should eat.
Liza: I didn't think you cared... since last night, I haven't been feeling well, I don't wanna throw up before my appointment.
She grabbed her water from the fridge and went upstairs. Olivia had never seen Liza cold and distant, it was honestly creepy and unusual. Liza was in her guest room getting ready. After she got dressed, she looked in the mirror. She adjusted her clothes and hair. She got her papers and federal documents in order for the clinic. Olivia came to her room and sat on the bed.
Olivia: Liza?
She let out a large sigh, annoyed with her sister's presence.
Liza: Yes, Olivia.
Olivia: I know some of the stuff I said might've sounded spiteful. But, I want you to know I didn't mean for it to sound like that.
Liza: Oh really? Well, how was it supposed to sound?
Olivia: It's just... people, will find anything to say bad about you, and you put you're entire life on the internet, how will people react?
Liza: Once again, I don't care. People will say bad things about anyone, I can't expect everyone to be on my side every time. And if I know something, like what I just witnessed from you, I can't change a damn thing, it's not my job to change the way people think. If I share my truth, then it's my truth, and not everyone will agree with it.
Olivia: You're so young and you have your social media career, and have all the time in the world to worry about getting pregnant. As your sister, I don't want to force my opinion on you because then there would animosity between us and that's not cool!
Hearing all this rambling from her sister was starting to make Liza really upset. She felt herself about to cry, thinking back to their argument.
Liza: Olivia! I forgive you... is that what you wanna hear? Huh? You said what you said... and nothing can change that... I'm already pregnant, there's nothing I'm gonna do about this.... I need peace... please...
She seen Liza's lip quivering and the tears welling up. She couldn't help but think she some how made it worse. Liza's new pregnancy hormones weren't doing their conversation any justice either. Olivia cut her losses and just left. Liza bought herself an Uber to the clinic and got a notification when they arrived. She made her way to the door.
Olivia: Bye, Liza.
Liza: Mhm.
She rudely exited the house and went to her Uber. Olivia truly felt terrible about what she said to Liza. She sounded so closed minded and one sided about the whole situation. Liza arrived to the ultrasound studio and walked in.
Nurse: Hello, how can you help you today?
Liza: I have an appointment today for an ultrasound.
Nurse: Name?
Liza: Elizabeth Koshy.
Nurse: Date of Birth?
Liza: March 31, 1996.
Nurse: Can I see some ID and your insurance information, please?
Liza pulled out her driver's license and insurance card then handed both to the reception nurse. She checked to make sure Liza's documents were all up to standards and then handed them back.
