Turning on her night lamp, Ahrin lays back on her bed and begins opening the diary that she found earlier that day.

Today is a great day, because my father has successfully sold 7 properties I am finally able to move to a new elite school. But then again it's Seoul, the elites here are always above you no matter how successful you think your family is. First day of school was really great. I got to see the baseball competition that was luckily held on the same day as the start of my first day. One guy stood out to me so much more than the other players, His name is Kim Jungwoo. The way he runs, the way he smiles, the way he argues, everything about him is so attractive and I can't get him out of my mind. But sadly, I can only see from afar because Jungwoo is engaged to Karina. Call me selfish and ignorant but I still wish to stand a chance to be with him.
After reading the contents Ahrin debates whether to continue reading or to dispose of the diary, but Ahrin being the curious girl she is, she flips open the next page.

I can't believe I got complimented by Kim Yuna the figure skater, Yes today she came to our school to evaluate us. I can't believe my idol said that I'm very talented. I thought Minjeong is the one that will be acknowledged by her, since she's called Winter (the princess of ice). I honestly felt so privileged that I'm able to study here. What other school invites a famous athlete to evaluate our class?
But
I know I should be happy after receiving a compliment from my idol, but why do I feel scared instead? The look Winter gave me was very unpleasant, she looked at me as if she's giving me a warning. Right after Kim Yuna leaves, Minjeong (Winter) rushes to the changing room and throws the shoes into the trash bin. Her best friend Giselle tries to stop her but Minjeong pushes her away and says something to her. I couldn't hear her clearly aside from the word 'kill her' I tried my best to think positive and not assume things but her actions indicate that she's talking about me.
After changing as I was walking towards my chemistry class I saw Jaemin, Haechan and Xiaojun walking out of the library looking at me angrily. I know I shouldn't be surprised because Jaemin is Winter's boyfriend and she must've told him something about what happened. I smiled at them but they rolled their eyes and kept on walking. To be completely honest I don't think I'm wrong, It's not my fault if I'm better than Minjeong.
I hope I can talk it out with Minjeong tomorrow.
Ahrin closes the diary and puts it in the drawer by her bed. She then opens her instagram and search for NCT and AESPA's Instagram
