The two women hadn't spoken for a couple of days after that night. After a scene Sarah followed Lily to her dressing room and confronted her about what had happened.

"Listen Lily, I'm sorry to have lead you on but I was tipsy and lonely and it can not, must not happen again. We both know it was wrong."

"you say it was wrong, but Sarah it felt so right and you cant deny that. what we shared was the most amazing thing I've ever felt. don't throw what we have away over some drunken kiss. please" Lily pleaded as Sarah broke into tears.

"I'm sorry Lily but what we shared was nothing but confused thoughts caught up in the loneliness of a Friday night. I really like you but I don't know in what way yet and it's too soon to jump into anything. You have been one of the closes friends I've ever had and I'm not sure I'm ready to give that up yet. The kiss may have felt very right in the moment but all-in-all it was just as wrong as it didn't feel. All I'm asking for is some time to think things through. Please Lily,I don't want to throw what we have away."

"Sarah please don't cry.. you're the best- best friend I've ever had and i know what i feel for you now but if you aren't sure of anything I won't hurry you into something you don't understand, then i can wait for you to get your thoughts together. I'll always be here, okay?" Lily said as she calmed Sarah down.

Nobody had ever been sweet the way Lily was just with Sarah. She couldn't help it but as Lily hugged her she looked directly into Lily's eyes and gave her sincere kiss that lasted seconds.

As Lily pulled back, she replied to Sarah "I know you're confused and in a difficult place right now but wait until you're sure of what you feel."

Feeling rejected and embarrassed, Sarah quickly wiped her face and left Lily's dressing room.
