"Do we have to" whined Angel, dragging out the 'o' in the 'to'.
"Yes" snapped Haven, annoyed that she has to act like a adult even though Angel is a good half a year older then her.
"But why? Didn't we run away to be free? And not to follow rules which include going to school" Angel stared, knowing she had to be right somehow.
"I know" sighed Haven.
"But, in order to do that, we need money, which means a job and how are we meant get a job without going to school?" Haven said, in a 'miss know it all' voice.Angel rolled her eyes knowing she was right, and she hated that. Angel always be the childish one while Haven was the strict one, but Haven also had this sense of humour that only certain people got. Like you had to know her to know her sense of humour, she also really sarcastic, which meant people wanting to punch her in the face. A lot.
While Angel was the carefree one, the sense of humour everyone would love to have.
"Okay..." Sighed Angel and picked up her backpack.
"So, New York high school here we come" she sulkily said, with her head down walking out of their apartment.
"C'mon princess" Haven said, putting the nickname Angel hates with her every fibre.
"Shut up" Angel snapped, heading to the stairs because of the apartment having a broken lift.
Haven let a small smile on her face, while rolling her dark brown eyes.********************
They arrived at a dull building, with no one out side.
"Guess we're late" shrugged Haven.
"Good, like they say. Fabulously late" said Angel, putting on posh voice and finishing it with a wink towards her best friend. Haven smiled at her and shook her head, making some of her long dark hair fall over her shoulder."C'mon, before we're even more late" she said heading towards the building she knew already she hated, with Angel right behind her.
They came to a stop in front of a desk with a young lady, mid twenty she looked. She was sat back with her eyes closed while chewing gum, loudly.
"Erm... Hi?" Angel more liked ask the lady.
Angel has always been the awkward one out of the two, even in the most simplest task she make it awkward. Which meant having the piss took out of you out of by Haven.
The lady opened her eyes and observed the two young girls.
The one to the right was taller and had hair that fell under her quite big boobs. Her hair was a reddish colour, obviously dyed, but it make her light brown eyes stick out more, her eyes had a hint of forest green in them, making them one of a kind.
The one on the left was shorter; not by much. She had dark brown hair with natural light highlights that fell to her hips. Her eyes were dark brown which came along with dark, long eye lashes. Her boobs were smaller then her friends, a lot smaller, but she had slightly longer legs then her friends.
Haven started at the women, she didn't like the way she observed them, like they were criminals. The lady noticed the cold stare coming from her, she moved uncomfortable in her chair from the hard star . She cleared her throat.
"Yes?" Like blonde at the desk.
"We're new here" started Angel.
"We're here for our time tables" stated Haven. The blonde raised her eyebrow. "Time tables?" She noticed their British accents.
"Oh, you mean schedules" the blonde stated.
Angel shrugged her shoulders' "whatever you call them here" she said, with a grin.
The lady typed something on the computer.
" aha, Angel Lemon and Haven Stone?" She asked while giving Angel a weird look with her surname.
